Meet Blake, a year old Doberman mix. This boy is so fun and terrific and silly and goofy. Blake has become an absolute playgroup rockstar! He can keep up with the more rowdy group of dogs, but is also able to calmly play with the quieter group. Blake is so smart he even welcomes the new dogs into playgroup with great patience and understanding. He literally hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t get along with! Blake came in with his twin brother Jake (who is recovering from surgery) but will be okay if adopted out separately.Blake is also a regular on our volunteer hikes. He’s still learning his leash manners and tends to pull a bit, but with some more training, he will be the very best hiking buddy. And after a great hike, Blake will be happy to lay on a blanket under a tree for a leisurely nap.

Story
Cinco was born November 14, 2026 in Tarzana, CA. His mom is a pure bred Bloodhound that was rescued from Mexico due to a hurt leg. The dad's breed is unknown. (Mom was seen with with a German Shepard mix and and Australian Shepard). There are many farm breed working dogs in that area of Mexico. Cinco is a very curious and active puppy. He vocalizes and whistle common in the bloodhound breed. He also rounds up our chickens and has not been trained to not pounce on them. He is very sweet and loves attention. He would be great with an active family where he would gets lots of exercise and attention. He will begin puppy school at J9K9 February 27 for 6 weeks. Cinco is scheduled for final round of vaccines and neutering on March 15. The adoption fee includes training, neutering and shots.

She’ll greet you with a happily wagging tail and proudly show off commands like sit and down - especially if a tasty treat is involved!
