Story
Meet Roxie – The Mini Nose on the Go! Personality: Curious, Affectionate, DeterminedIf Roxie really is a Bloodhound mix, she’s the fun-sized edition! Don’t let her smaller stature fool you — this girl’s got all the spirit and energy packed into one adorable, wiggly body. Roxie is a fun little energy bundle who’s always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s a walk, a hike, or a backyard sniff-a-thon.She seems housetrained, walks well on leash, and shows polite curiosity toward other dogs (though she’d like a proper meet-and-greet first, just to make sure everyone’s on the same page!). Roxie loves daily exercise to stretch her legs, chase a few zoomies, and of course, inspect the neighborhood for any new and exciting smells — her nose is always on duty! Fun Fact: Roxie considers pigeons her personal fitness trainers — she swears they help her get her daily sprints in! With her mix of playful energy and sweet snuggles, Roxie is the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal, lively best friend who’s down for everything (and will sniff everywhere).Ready for adventure? Roxie’s ready for you! Adoption fees are currently waived! All pets are spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!

Story
Meet Stanley; a sweet, scared dog looking for a safe, child-free home We are heartbroken to be rehoming our dog, Stanley, but we have a baby on the way and we cannot safely keep him in our home anymore. Stanley has a history of fear and trauma from before we adopted him, and he has bitten a couple of people when he felt scared and cornered. Because of this, he cannot live in a home with children or frequent visitors. Personality: When Stanley feels safe, he is snuggly/loyal/goofy/calm. He loves naps on the couch, walks, playing with toys. With the people he trusts, he is a very sweet dog.Trained. Behavior concerns (please read): Stanley has a history of fear-based aggression. He has bitten a couple of people in the past when he was scared and felt trapped. His triggers seem to be sudden movements, strangers reaching for him, people entering the home, people play fighting. He needs: An adult-only home An experienced dog person who understands fearful/reactive dogs. A calmer household

Story
Meet Copper - Your Playful, Affectionate SidekickCopper is a 1-year-8-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a big heartand an even bigger personality. This friendly guy loves everyone he meetsand is always ready to show his affection. He knows `sit` and `down,` enjoysfetching toys, and is happiest when he`s moving and exploring.Copper can be jumpy and pulls hard on leash, but a harness makes walks mucheasier. He will need continued training to improve his leash manners andreinforce good behavior. His previous owner reported he was housebroken, loved car rides, and wasfriendly with adults and kids. He`s not a fan of cats, so a cat-free homeis best. He`s not destructive and has never escaped, making him a reliableand affectionate companion for the right family. Copper was surrendered due to some territorial issues with another dog inhis previous home, and he was briefly adopted again but was too big for thatfamily. In shelter testing, he was playful with other dogs, so ameet-and-greet is recommended. Recommended for kids 12+.Copper is looking for a loving home where he can play, learn, and be aloyal, energetic friend for years to come.Adoption fees are currently waived! All pets are spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!
