Theon is a 7 year old plot hound mix & is quite the charmer. This southern gentleman likes to play with toys but doesn’t get too rambunctious. He mostly just wants your love and affection. He prefers a slow & steady life with lots of couch time! Theon survived a Texas kill shelter & will be arriving to the tri-state area soon, in search of his forever home. Story
Just like the pastry, you’re going to want to eat this girl up! Croissant is a 4-year old, 48-pound Bluetick Coonhound mix who will melt in your arms like butter and spread her sweetness around like strawberry jam! Awwwww! Housebroken and crate trained, Croissant knows the do’s and dont’s of where and when to deal with her potty needs. She lovvvves going for walks and has excellent leash manners, but for the occasional squirrel she might spot along the way. Her energy level falls squarely in the midrange, in that Croissant enjoys playtime and romping around, but also sees the value of chill time and has no problem relaxing alone. Croissant is very much into human contact and thrives on attention and affection. She is a rockstar with people of all ages, including young kiddos with whom she is always sweet and gentle. With proper introduction and guidance, she is fine around other dogs, but might need a reminder here and there. She responds well to correction and she always aims to please! Smart and curious, Croissant likes exploring unfamiliar places and embracing new situations. She listens well to the commands sit and get down, and she will respect your wishes if you tell her to stay away or give space. Croissant is still young enough to learn many more phrases and commands, and nothing would make her happier than to please her people and share with them all the love she has to offer in her big ‘ol heart! What a happy hound! Say hello to Pancake, a 4-year old, 48-pound Treeing Walker Coonhound mix who is as sweet as his ears are long! Docile, darling, devoted, and dapper, Pancake is everything you could hope for in a furry companion. He gets along well with humans, dogs, and little kids too. He loves being pet, spending couch time with you, and putting his head in your lap when he’s tired. But if you need your space, he will respect your boundaries. Pancake just gets it! Pancake is housebroken, crate trained, and well behaved on a leash. He’s also terrific in a car. An outdoor enthusiast, Pancake enjoys going for walks and makes friends whenever he goes. Popular in the dog park, Pancake likes meeting new pooches and plays nicely with them all, never getting barky or rough. He’s also very warm and welcoming toward unfamiliar folks, wagging his tail for literally everyone! His coat is just gorgeous and it’s hard to stop stroking his soft silky head! Pancake has a good blend of energy - playful at intervals, while mellow the rest of the time. He’s a champion napper and is content to simply feel your presence around him.
