Story
Meet Moose! He walks nicely on leash, knows many tricks, like sit and shake, and is both crate and house-trained. He’s a big fan of routine and would thrive in a home that makes time for daily walks, weekend hikes, and the occasional joyride. Moose rides great in the car and enjoys sticking his head out the window to feel the wind on his face! This big guy LOVES to play, especially a rough-and-tumble game of chase with another playful dog, who doesn't mind roughhousing. He’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only cuddle buddy, but he’d also enjoy sharing his home with another dog who’s down to play and match his joyful energy. Moose would do best in a home with older kids who aren’t fazed by his size. He’s all love and wiggles, but there’s a lot of him to love! He would do best in a home with no cats as well. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, affectionate companion, Moose just might be your perfect match. He loves to be loved, and he can’t wait to love you right back. Moose would do best in a home and not an apartment. He absolutely loves to talk and would thrive in a space where the occasional bark isn't a problem! Moose is a big-hearted guy, but like many dogs, he can get a little stressed during big changes. Transitions, like moving into a new home, can be overwhelming for him at first. If you’re considering welcoming Moose into your life, he’ll need some patience, understanding, and a calm environment while he adjusts. The good news? He does settle in with time and support! And you won’t be doing it alone Sarge’s is more than happy to counsel and support adopters or fosters with tips, resources, and guidance to help Moose ease into your routine and home life as smoothly as possible!

Story
Meet Ginny! She's looking for a calm, medium to low energy home where she can enjoy peaceful walks and quiet time with her people. At about 4 years old, sweet Ginny still gets spurts of energy and would love some leisurely time outdoors! She can be a little sensitive to busy or noisy environments, so a quieter routine helps her feel her best. She is a true couch potato, who isn't able to go on strenuous hikes or runs due to having a wonky leg, that was injured previously. She has tested positive for heartworms and thrives in a home that can give her a loving and calm space while she finishes out treatment. If you are looking for a companion who would love to spend time with you as you binge your favorite series, she might be the one! The thing we love the most about Ginny is that she has a true, kind soul. She LOVES her people and will make your day with her kind demeanor and gentle snuggles. Some meet this amazing lady, she'll leave paw prints all over your heart!

Story
Bonnies a high energy outdoor dog. She goes straight out of her crate to the yard head down smelling and tracking. She loves to chase a tennis ball like most labs and Ive never seen such a fast dog. Shes sweet and very young still. She does well with people who aren't afraid of dogs. She can sit and follows you anywhere you go wanting to have fun. She can spring upwards of 5 feet. Unfortunately we have not been able to keep her interested all the time allowing for her to become bored. She chews anything that she can carry around. Shes 6 months old and with the winter now it’s become very difficult for her not to have the space to get her out. I think if you had the time and extra money for training she would be an amazing addition to your family.
