Story
Benjamin is a big, goofy, and playful Plott Hound looking for a responsible adult-only household. While he is a wiggly, play-bowing guy, he does do some resource guarding of food and treats from people as well as dogs. He loves active play with other dogs -and he's really good at it- but bones and treats can't be around because he may guard them. His adoption fee is $50. If you'd like to meet him, please submit an adoption application at www.sarges.orgMay 27, 2023, 7:07 am

Story
Plott Hounds are known for being fantastic dogs and make fabulous family members! They are fun, active, alert, people loving puppers! And our Colt checks all those boxes for sure. Even his tail wagging abilities haven`t been hampered with the fact that his poor tail had been broken in the past and is now at a permanent 90 degree angle. He doesn`t mind how it looks, it just adds character. He loves attention and is easy to control on leash. He would love a warm porch to sit on and pass the time away while being a good devoted dog his family will be proud of.

Attention: This is a courtesy posting only! This pet is NOT available through Mountain Pet Rescue.  Please do NOT contact MPR for information about the pet or apply to adopt this pet on the MPR website.  Contact seanhansonpa@gmail.com for more information or to adopt the pet.My name is Bradley but you can call me Brad.I have had a wonderful life with my family the last 4 years. I was rescued by my current parents when I was 1. I enjoy hikes in the woods, sunbathing, belly rubs, playing fetch and lots of attention. I enjoy playing with other dogs at daycare and dogs/people at parks. I’m house-trained, know how to walk on a leash (after lots of training) and can even sit/stay on command!  My parents have a young child, and I’m not liking to be around it and could use a family who would pay more attention to me and don’t have young kids. I don’t mind kids, but I don’t like being pulled or laid on. I would enjoy a house with a yard for me to play in, people to give me attention, other more submissive dogs, and someone who likes the woods or areas I can roam off leash. I’d prefer being around people, but can be left alone for 8 hours a day if I get a good walk when you return. I’m a good dog and would love another loving home.Contact my family today at seanhansonpa@gmail.com to meet or learn more about me.Brad All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Story
Beautiful and soulful, Gabriella is a young 65 pound Catahoula mix. Loyal and loving, she requires a responsible adult-only home due to her history of having some issues with strangers at first meeting. She has been known to bark or gruff at barriers. She requires someone willing to take time to get to know her and spend some time. Once she accepts you, she is one of the most loyal and loving dogs you will ever meet. She's crate trained and knows commands, such as 'sit' and 'wait'. Although she has some friends here in the same species, she tends to not do well with most dogs, so she will need to be the only dog in the house. She also does not like. She does have a very playful spirit and really enjoys a good ball for you to throw around with her. This athletic girl would prefer a home with space to run and regular exercise or training. If interested in this extraordinary lady please submit a dog adoption application at www.sarges.org. Her adoption fee is $125.May 27, 2023, 7:07 am
