Story
Chipmunk is a young dog with a big personality hiding behind some very intense eyes. When he first meets new people he can be a little shy. The good news is that Chip is highly motivated by snacks, and a handful of treats or kibble is really all it takes to start making friends. Once he decides you're friends, his sweet and goofy personality starts to come out. He's an energetic boy with plenty of puppy energy and a bit of endearing clumsiness as he continues to figure out his long legs. He absolutely loves treats, chewing on a good bone, enjoys a porch snooze, and is happiest when he's playing with friends- and he's friends with everyone! Kids, dogs, cats, he's ready to be besties with all of em. The most special thing about Chip, other than how soft his fur is, is getting to watch him open up. This guy is a loyal, joyful little shadow who loves toys and bones but honestly is thrilled just to be snuggled up near you. Chipmunk is housetrained, can be trusted to hang out at home without eating your couch, and is looking for a patient home that will give him a little time to settle in and the chance to show just how soft he really is.

LOCATION: TULSA, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Whiskey is a gentle giant who spent years surviving on his own before we finally got him back where he belongs. At 92 pounds, he's every bit the classic bloodhound- big, sweet, and built like a tank, with the kind of face that stops you in your tracks. He's arrived a bit skiddish, which makes sense given everything he's been through, but he's settling in and letting his guard down more every day. Whiskey is working through treatment for heartworms, and he's dealing with some hip issues we're still getting answers on. None of that has touched his spirit- he's a survivor through and through. He's going to need a family with patience for his recovery and a soft spot for a big dog who's earned his happy ending.
