Story
Ruby is a 3 year old, 45 lb sweetheart with a loving and spunky spirit. She loves romping outside with other dogs, squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles with her people. She absolutely lights up when she sees familiar people. Her tail wag is endless and she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. Shes housebroken, crate trained and currently lives happily in a family setting with kids, dogs, and cats. She does best with slow intros to new dogs but once she realizes they are friendly shes very sweet, playful and submissive. She is a wonderful cat companion also and totally ignores them, including the litter box. Ruby completed a 3 week board and train program and did AMAZING. Her trainer was impressed with how quickly she picks up new skills and how eager she is to work. She learned all kinds of obedience skills and manners. She can be anxious meeting new people outside her comfort zone so adopters without expectations of taking her out and about to busy places is ideal. Shes a simple girl that loves the familiarity and routine of home and walks in nature. Rubys quite agile and can jump low fences so high fences and/or supervision while shes outdoors is a must. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion and believe in giving a dog with a hard background a second chance, Ruby might just be your girl! Ruby is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines and prevention and negative for both heart worms and tick diseases. Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes! Meet Meet Bosco 🐾 Bosco came to us from a hoarding situation, where over 30 dogs were living in unsafe conditions and many tragically didn't survive. Fortunately, this guy is safe now, fully out of danger, and ready to start fresh in a loving home. Bosco is resilient, but doesn't want to have to be anymore. He’s 9 months old and ready to just be a puppy instead of trying to fight to survive. We're still getting to know him, but it's clear he desperately wants to be someone's loyal companion. After everything he's been through, he deserves peace, love, and a forever family to show him the good in life. If you have a little room in your home and heart, Bosco would love to curl up inside.
