Zeke is a hound mix, which means two things: 1. His nose is stronger than your WiFi. 2. He will follow a squirrel trail like its his full-time job.This lanky 1.5-year-old goofball is equal parts snuggle bug and backyard detective. Hes got ears like velvet that are legally required to be touched at least once a day, a tail that operates like a windshield wiper, and a bark that says, Yes, Ive seen the mailman & no, I will not calm down.Zeke loves sniffing out new trails, sunbathing in the yard, and curling up next to his favorite people when the day winds down. He takes his sniffing duties very seriously every bush, every tree, every weird smell on your shoe. Zeke takes a little time to warm up to new humanshes got the classic hound suspicion of strangersbut once he decides youre safe (and have snacks), hes loyal, affectionate, and hilariously expressive. Hell follow you from room to room like a four-legged detective, snuggle like its his full-time job, and make you laugh daily with his dramatic sighs and why is he sitting like that poses. Expect dramatic sighs, side-eyes, and full-body flops onto your lap. Hes smart, sweet, and eager to please. Zeke would thrive with someone who enjoys walks, belly rubs, and doesnt mind the occasional hound song when he gets excited. Hes the kind of dog who bonds hard, loves harder, and snores like a small tractor.Being alone? Hes not a fan. Zeke would rather not be left solo he gets anxious without his person and is seeking someone who can help him build confidence and feel secure.Looking for a four-legged sidekick who will make you laugh daily and remind you that life is best lived nose-first? Henrietta, meaning “Ruler of the Home”, is way ToOoOoO formal. I’m more of a ….. Hennie (nickname) kind of gal.  At about 60# and just 1 1/2 year old, I’m a FUN LOVING, “Kick up Your Heels” Bluetick Hound Girl that loves People, Kids, other Dogs and Even Cats! WOW, yep. I’m just looking for a Good Time. One of “14” pups ready to “Pop Out” into the world when mom found herself stuck in a shelter. Lucky for us all, mom was pulled to safety by Molly’s Place Rescue in the nick of time. My sister Halle and I are the “2” lone pups still on the hunt for that special home! Yep, Saved the BEST for Last! With “Floppy Hound Ears”, an occasional Bay to make you smile, I’m an even tempered, all people friendly, tail wagging, eager to please and goofy. Not just a GOOD LOOKING HOUND with my blue ticking coloration, I also have intelligence and a keen nose that leads the brain in different directions. So, a 4 foot fence suits me best to remain safe. Still needing some basic training, my brain will come in handy once given experiences and direction. Did you note the picture of 2 “goofy Gals” peering over the fence? I’m the one on the Left! Oh, the world is SO, SOO big yet I’m ready to take it on with your help, patients and training. Come and explore the options, meet me and fall in love. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. MEET FELICITY Felicity is one of Pearl's 10 "F" litter of pups that came to us from Alabama,  Mama Pearl is HW+ and is still in Alabama getting her treatments.  Heartworm is not transmitted from Mother to pups. Mama looks to be a Plott Hound and daddy had to be or have Retriever in him by the looks of some of the pups.  We anticipate this litter to be around 50lbs full grown.  They are a very sweet litter that does not have the barking of a Hound. Will make a great member to any family and a great walking/running companion.York Springs, PA.
