Story
Carl is an older puppy (6-8mos) who is brand new to being in a stable home. He is a goofy love bug who just needs some good structure in his life. He is a very fast learner and is very eager to be a good boy/figure out what you want him to do. He still needs some work with his manners around jumping but is extremely receptive to clicker training and has already figured out potty training, sit, lay down and wait in the short time we’ve had him. Carl has likely had some food insecurity in his life which makes him very excited around food, this is a good thing with training but also means he needs to learn to ignore human mealtime. He has been curious about our cat but has respected her boundaries. He has yet to meet a kiddo. He would likely do well in a house with a backyard. We could see him riding solo or enjoying a doggie sibling who can show him the ropes. He is one of those dogs who you just know is going to be an amazing companion!
