She is a 6-year-old, 75-lb Bloodhound who is looking for an active family with a strong leader who knows the breed. PRESLEY has a medium energy level, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has never shown any reactivity. She showed no interest when we walked by an elementary school yard, but toddlers may not be a good fit only because of her size. PRESLEY seems to know about car rides, but may need some help to get in the back of an SUV. She seems to know 'sit', but may have a stubborn streak in her to learn more. She walks well on a leash; likes to go, go, go. She would make a good hiking partner. PRESLEY is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines for her forever family. Scarlet’s story is still unfolding, and her next chapter could be written with you. After arriving at SNARF from Southern Utah, this gentle girl has been quietly showing just how special she is. Believed to be between 9 months and 1 year old, Scarlet is fully vetted and ready for a foster-to-adopt home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and begin to truly shine. At around 40 pounds, Scarlet is the perfect medium size with a soft, sweet presence. She is potty trained, learning her basic commands, and does well with people, dogs, and cats. A little shy at first, Scarlet blossoms once trust is built, revealing a tender and loving soul. She’s searching for a patient, kind-hearted home with another dog to play with that will nurture her confidence and walk beside her as she grows into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be.
