Story
Ginger is a 9 mo. old Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix who was adopted from PAWS in June of 2025. Unfortunately, the family cat is not doing well with Ginger so they are hoping to find a cat-free home. Ginger would do best with another dog in the home with a fenced in yard. She is full of spirit and adventure, has completed 2 puppy classes, knows many commands and is an AKC Puppy Star. She loves her kiddie pool in the summer but also loves snow! Due to her herding nature, we prefer a home without small children. Ginger is housetrained and crate trained. We are looking for an active home as Ginger is an active dog needing daily exercise and is eager to learn.Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping.
