Story
Meet Hobart! Hobart is a handsome 5-year-old, 65-lb hound/heeler mix. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative—ready for his forever home! He’s crate trained, housebroken, e-collar trained, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and gets along with most other dogs (especially larger ones). He is a loyal companion with a big, endearing personality. Hobart loves going for walks and would make an excellent adventure partner. Thanks to his e-collar training, his recall is solid, and he enjoys exploring the outdoors just as much as he loves relaxing on the couch with his people. Hobart would do best with an active individual or couple who is willing to continue providing structure, consistency, and training and would thrive in a home without kids, cats, or other small animals. Hobart’s only challenge is occasional resource guarding, but with the right environment and owners who understand his boundaries, he will flourish.

Story
Rocky’s story began when he was found in a very rural front yard—hungry, alone, but unbelievably sweet from the very first moment. He was taken to the local small town shelter for safety, but an experienced foster took one look at his sweet face and knew this boy needed more than a shekter kennel. She saw something special in him… and she was right. Rocky is a smart and striking 5-month-old Red Heeler mix, about 24 pounds, with the most adorable freckles and an expression that melts hearts instantly. He is affectionate and loves to snuggle just as much as he loves to run and play outside. Rocky enjoys his chew toys and, like most puppies, may occasionally snag a sock or blanket—but he’s doing wonderfully learning what’s his and what’s not. He does great in his crate, is progressing nicely with house training, and is eager to please. He plays well with other dogs and has been around cats in his foster home—curious but respectful, never aggressive. Rocky responds well to gentle verbal correction and truly wants to do the right thing. And when he wakes up? He has the sweetest little yawn that will make you smile every single time. This loving, highly intelligent puppy is ready to grow into a loyal, lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a best friend who will stick by your side for years to come, Rocky may be your perfect match.
