Story
Arlo is an amazing puppy who just needs a bigger house with more room to run. My current landlord does not want him in house due to how big he is now and how much bigger he might get. I adopted Arlo in September from the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. I love this dog and do not want to get rid of him but he deserves better. He has been around other dogs, cats, and kids. He does do little nips when he gets excited because he is only 5 months old. We have been working on it and it is getting better. He is completely house trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. The only shots he has not gotten is his rabies shot.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet James! He graduated our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. James is a sweet and spunky guy. He spent some time in another Wyoming shelter and was overlooked. We have no idea why! He likes to play with other dogs - but he can be loud about it. Some dogs don't appreciate this. He'll need to meet any potential new siblings. James is a higher energy boy, who will benefit from daily activity. He really enjoys playing tug-o-war with his buddies. He does very well in his kennel and will be happy to see you after a long day at work. When it's food time, he does the cutest tippy toe tap dance that's guaranteed to put a smile on your face. James is in a foster home with cats and he has done really well around them! He would love to show you his cute food happy dance. Apply to meet him today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Miss Birdie! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'High Five', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Birdie is a bundle of love. Her main goals in life seem to be to make people happy and cuddle. She is one to keep you warm during the cold Wyoming winters upon us. She gets along with other dogs but can use a reminder from time to time to play gentle. In her previous home, little kids made her way too nervous. She'd really excel in a home without them. In true heeler fashion, she also is way too interested (and not in a good way) in cats. A cat free home will suit her best. She needs continuous training on her leash skills, but she is willing to learn if you are willing to put in the effort. She has proven to be good in the kennel and even left out of it when she is left alone. She will need a 6' fence to keep her in a yard though. Her curious mind sometimes gets the best of her, and she's hopped short fences. This little Birdie will graduate in the middle of December. Right in time for you to snuggle up and watch a good Halmark movie together. Apply to meet her today!
