Meet Mort: The Hound with a Heart and a Heck of a Bellow. Mort is a four-year-old, 90-pound Bluetick Coonhound with a voice that echoes through the canyon and a love that fills the room. He’s sweet, soulful, and leash-trained, thanks to a successful board-and-train program. This boy walks like a gentleman and loves like there’s no tomorrow. Mort’s ideal home? One with adults or teens who understand that love sometimes comes with boundaries. He’s uncomfortable around young children and will bark to let you know. He’s never been aggressive, just honest about his feelings. He thrives in calm, respectful environments where he can be himself. - Smart - Vocal - Loyal -Sensitive He’s fully vetted, ready to roll. If you’re looking for a companion who is equal parts hound and heart, Mort might just be your guy. Call 602-971-1334 to meet Mort or come to Home Fur Good Animal Rescue Thursday-Saturdays 11-4 during walk-in hours. His adoption fee is $400 as he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and receives a free first vet visit.
