Captain is a 3-year-old receiver, Certificate of Completion of Smart Paws Obedience Course! He has patiently waited to find his forever home. His journey started in the rural woods of Georgia, where he and his litter mates were rescued by a kind-hearted family. Captain was adopted as a young puppy by a couple, but as life changes Captain's previous pet parent, now pregnant, so did Captain's circumstances. Now, Captain is on the lookout for a new home where he can thrive as the only dog. Captain has come a long way thanks to some dedicated training and the love of his foster mom Sheena. He's transformed from a stressed and anxious pup to a calm, happy boy who just needs the right environment to flourish. Captain's heart is full of love, and he's just waiting to share it with the right person or family. Story
I have been fostering Halo for a couple months now and she is such a good dog! She is house trained, kennel trained, loves other dogs, absolutely loves children, the best snuggler, and is sooo active and ready for activities! Unfortunately she has quite a strong prey drive and living in a home with my nervous cat is next to impossible. She would do AMAZING in a home without cats or small dogs. She plays very well with my dog who is similar in size to her. She is also still young so still working on commands like stay, no jumping, place, etc. She knows how to sit, lay, give paw, drop objects. We did do a doggy DNA test on her and we know what her exact 4 breeds are. We would also be willing to spay her before you adopt her. The adoption fee is negotiable- I truly just want to find the perfect fit for her!
