Story
This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to make, but we are looking for a new home for our 4.5-year-old Australian Shepherd, Bruno. Bruno is a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate dog with his family and people he knows well. He loves being outdoors, running, playing, and being involved in whatever is going on around him. He is neutered, healthy, and up to date on his veterinary care. Like many herding breeds, Bruno is protective and can be anxious around unfamiliar people. He can be reactive to strangers and is not a good fit for a busy household with frequent visitors or young children coming and going. Because of this, we believe he would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands herding breeds and can provide structure and consistency. Bruno would thrive in a home with plenty of room to run, whether that’s acreage, a farm, ranch, or simply an active house
