Story
Boo is a charming 2 year old hound mix on a quest to find his forever home! Boo is part Java Chip Frappuccino, part Velvet Lizard Hunter. Boo's journey with ARNO began as a stray found on the Lafitte Greenway, but he now longs to share his affection with a loving family. His smile tells a story of courage and optimism, and he's ready to embark on a new adventure with his forever humans.Boo is a dynamic and intelligent good boy, perfect for active individuals or families. He relishes outdoor activities like hiking and running, but he also wants to spend part of everyday chilling on the couch getting ear scratches. Boo gets along great with other dogs and his learning his way around cats. With the right introduction, he could be a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loyal and affectionate friend, make Boo your little boo-thang.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
My name is Ichabod. I am young born on 8/17/22, but I am eager to learn as I love my treats. I’m a playful, silly one year old pup who loves my foster family but loooooves my foster sister the most. All dogs are my friends and I haven’t lived with a cat. I have hung out with a few and they are my friends too. I like kids too! I love to take walks and I’m a good listener but I do get distracted by squirrels. Luckily the thing I love the most is treats so I can always be redirected as long as there are treats to be earned. I am smart, silly, and love to cuddle on the couch or in bed in the morning. I love chew toys and wresting and I’m totally house broken and crate trained. For more info email adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org. The adoption fee is $250. This includes my puppy shots, a rabies shot, chip, fecal and neuter! You also get a special gift and a Bark Box Bed while supplies last.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
Meet Annie, the most perfect 15 pound dog stuck in a 75 pound body that you will ever meet. Annie was living with her family and a Shih Tzu in a home pre-Ida. Their home was destroyed and they were forced to live in their car. As you can imagine, that wasn't easy. Her family made the difficult decision to surrender her to us in the hopes of finding appropriate housing for her. When haven't had any luck yet...probably because of her size. Annie is exuberant and loves life. She is treat motivated and wants to do everything to please her human. She is house trained and great on leash, once her initial excitement is over. Her 2 former fosters gave her glowing reviews on her house manners. Please consider fostering or adopting this big girl. She is up to date on shots, microchipped, spayed and promised to make you smile each and every day. Ten months is too long to find a home for this Ida survivor. She deserves more. Thanks. Michelle
