Olive is a beautiful ticked American English Coonhound from a full shelter in southwest Virginia. She's engaging and lively and loves to meet new people and dogs. She's about a year old and still needs to learn some manners when greeting people and other dogs, but she's at a great age to settle down and receive some training. She did well when introduced to the cat at the boarding kennel - she was curious but not aggressive. Because of her energy level, she would be well-matched with older kids and younger playful dogs. Olive will arrive in Massachusetts June 20th. If you'd like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. Meet Peppy! Their favorite things are sniffy walks, cuddling and getting pets, treats. Peppy is a bit reserved at first, but warms up quickly and is looking for a patient family who can give an adopted dog some time to decompress in the new home. Peppy . Peppy has enjoyed spending time around other mellow dogs at the shelter, so we think they may do well with a calm polite canine sibling. We reccommend Peppy meet any potential canine siblings at the shelter.
