Story
Sweet baby boy Huey is 1 yr 3 months old and about 45lbs. Huey will thrive and live his best life in a home where he doesn’t feel the need to compete for food, toys, or even love! He is the snuggliest boy and just wants to receive as much love as he gives (which is a lot). He loves kisses, very long walks, barking at trees, is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, vaccinated, and just simply ADORES his humans. Huey is very well trained, loves to learn, and constantly looks for something to do. He has a lot of energy so currently we try to make sure he gets hours long walks or hikes a week as well as 3-4 times out a day to play, sniff, and train. Huey is so incredibly loving and will snuggle so hard when it’s time for bed but doesn’t generally enjoy pets/scratches due to sensitive skin as a result of allergies and his breed. He has to be the ONLY animal in the home, unless thoroughly worked with by a behavioralist (from our understanding of his situation thus far!) Thank you!!

Story
Here's a sweet girl who's ready for a new life. Clara is gentle and calm and can be tentative in new situations. For some dogs, going through the shelter experience, followed by transport, boarding, vetting, etc, is pretty unsettling. With a little patience, she'll learn to trust and will blossom into a nice hound companion. Clara may be Belle's mother, they were at the rural Virginia shelter together. Clara is estimated to be 6 - 7 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. Arriving in Massachusetts in June. If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Buck is about 1 year old and weighs about 50 lbs. He's active and engaging with new people and always looking for the next adventure. He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. Buck is a typical young hound boy and is pretty easy to please. He likes his outside time, will greet anyone new ( to see if they have food or petting to offer!), and when nothing else fun is going on, he'll just take a nap. He will benefit from learning leash skills and basic manners. Buck has arrived in Massachusetts and is ready for visits.
