Are you a big hound lover ? Booomer is the hound for you. Boomer was abandoned on a farm when his family moved. The local Animal Control Officer kept him at his home until rescue could be found and said he's an easy-keeper. We discovered that Boomer was heartworm posiive and he's been staying at a Virginia foster home for treatment. Boomer likes to lie in the sun, or on the floor, or in his crate. He enjoys a stroll around the yard and plays a bit with calmer older dogs. If you have chili or scalloped potatoes to offer, he'll help clean up in the kitchen. Boomer is about 4 yrs old and weighs about 75 lbs. He'll make the trip north to Massachusetts in late August. If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. I'm Waylon, a 7-year-old Beagle/Blue Tick hound seeking a new home. I'm a very laid back, chill boy! I love men and women equally and have lived with cats and dogs. I'm fine in playgroups and on walks. I slept in the bed with my human. I like to hang out on the sofa with you, love car rides and I jump in the car easily. I'm good in the car, calmly sit in the back seat. I love to go for a nice sniff walk. I do not like to be crated, please. I'm totally house-trained and an easy keeper. I'M ALSO GREAT WITH CATS! I went to the beach with my foster family and I did great. I went into the water a few times, wasn't afraid of the waves. Not a fan of rain, though. The fireworks didn't bother me.
