Hello. Yes. It’s me. Bill.Adorable Beagle and Coonhound mix. Professional nose. Part time singer. Full time good boy.I came to the shelter with my brother Ted. He’s great and all, but this is my monologue, so let’s stay on topic. I am social, I am vocal, and I have absolutely zero fear about sharing my thoughts. If something exciting happens, I will announce it. If nothing exciting happens, I may still provide commentary. You’re welcome.I love treats. I love praise. I love being told I’m handsome, talented, brilliant, the light of your life. I already even know a few commands! Training me should be a breeze because I work very hard for snacks and compliments. It’s a simple and effective business arrangement.Now. Dinner. I adore food. Deeply. Passionately. Because of my past, I can be protective of my dinner and high value treats. I just prefer to enjoy my meals in my own space. Think of it as me requesting a private dining experience. Give me my little area to eat, and we will have no issues at all.I’m friendly, adaptable, and ready to settle into just about any loving home. I’ve got charm, personality, and a voice that deserves an audience. I’m available for immediate adoption and very prepared to be someone’s favorite hello at the end of every day.**Scheduled to be neutered, scheduled to be microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Hey there, human! I’m Ted! I’m a bouncy, goofy little Beagle and Coonhound mix with a superstar nose and a tail that rarely stops moving. I’m social, wiggly, and absolutely thrilled to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Laundry? Amazing. Sitting on the couch? Incredible. Walking to the mailbox? Best day ever.I am powered by treats and compliments. I already know a few commands and would love to learn more, especially if snacks are part of the curriculum. Call me a very enthusiastic honor student. I do like my own space for meals since I can be protective of my food, but that’s easy. Breed: Blue Tick Coonhound / Great Pyrenees Mix Age: 1 year old Scout is a gentle, laid-back soul with a playful streak and a heart full of loyalty. He’s excellent with other dogs, cats, chickens, and people of all ages. A true pack animal, Scout thrives in the company of other dogs and  must  be placed in a home with at least one canine companion. Separation from his pack makes him anxious, so he’s looking for a family that understands his need for togetherness. Personality & Skills: Calm, affectionate, and easygoing Loves to track and chase deer—his hound instincts shine! Curious and clever (yes, he’s an escape artist!) Walks well on leash with a gentle trot, though he can be a little fussy about it Dislikes car rides but is working on it Special Notes: Scheduled to be neutered this month (we hope this helps with his wanderlust!) Currently underweight due to being picky about food, but he’s on a weight-gain journey and doing great Must live in a country setting with plenty of space to roam Best suited for an experienced hound owner who understands his instincts and energy If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy and adventure to your life, Scout might be your perfect match!   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
