Story
Meet Jazzy Jazzy is the definition of sweet and soulful. This 4-year-old red tick coonhound mix is incredibly affectionate, mellow, and easy to love. She does wonderful with children, cats, and other dogs and has the kind of calm personality that makes people instantly feel comfortable around her. Jazzy is currently heartworm positive, but our organization will fully cover her treatment at our selected clinic, so she won’t have to face that journey alone. She’s the type of dog who just wants a soft place to land, people to love, and a home where she can finally relax and be cared for the way she deserves.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Myla Myla is a beautiful Bluetick Coonhound rescued in September 2024 from Cumberland County Shelter in Fayetteville, NC, where she was on the euthanasia list.  Myla is an enthusiastic, smart, and affectionate hound who loves to communicate her excitement with her bay. She is highly food-motivated, enjoys learning, and does best with structure and enrichment. She is not aggressive but does have some behavioral sensitivities, including frustration with barriers and noise sensitivity. She is actively working with the NC State Behavioral Medicine team and has completed a board-and-train at Green Beagle Lodge. All professional reports can be shared. Myla loves other dogs, lives well with a small dog, was respectful of a free-roam indoor bunny, and tested indifferent to cats at the shelter. She has a sensitive stomach and eats Purina HA prescription kibble. Myla would thrive in a committed, structured home with someone who understands hounds and enjoys training. Story
This is Mina, or as we call her, Mina Wheats. She is an 8 year-old coonhound full of love and joy, ready to find her furever home. Mina was given to us through a rehoming situation about a month ago and has been nothing but perfect. Unfortunately, she has not gotten along with our dog and has been in a few fights with our hound. She originally lived with another dog and supposedly got along very well. However, Mina is extremely territorial, whether it’s over food, toys, the room she’s in, or even the people she attaches to. She is affectionate, intelligent, and deeply loyal. Like many hounds, she is scent-driven, curious, and enjoys exploring her environment. She loves expectations and a consistent daily routine. She hopes that daily routine includes lots of walkies, belly rubs, and a couple of treats when she’s been good! She does have anxiety, which is helped with daily morning medication that will be provided. I will provide more information about her during inquiry processes.

Floki is a 5 year old catahoula leopard dog. He's been house and crate trained since he was a puppy. If anyone is interested in meeting him, please message me. We are requiring a vet reference before meeting him. Serious inquiries only.
