She's looking for a home with another doggy friend who can keep up with her zoomies and join her in her favorite game—tug of war! When she’s not busy wrestling a rope toy or proudly carrying around a plushie, you’ll find her gleefully “de-stuffing” her toys to rescue the squeaker like it’s her life’s mission. This girl is incredibly people-oriented and loves being wherever you are whether that means playing in the yard, going for a ride, or snuggling up in bed at the end of the day. Bluebelle is a big cuddler who happily trades her puppy energy for cozy downtime and will gladly curl up next to you for some quality snuggle time. She also adores kids and thrives on the attention and activity they bring. Bluebelle is both crate trained and house trained, and she’s doing great learning her basic commands. She’s a smart cookie who picks things up quickly—especially when treats are involved! As a self-proclaimed foodie, she’s highly treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both her and her people. She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and handles vet visits like a champ. Because of her enthusiastic personality, Bluebelle would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard where she can safely burn off her energy. She can be quite vocal when she’s excited or wants to chat, so be ready for some sweet conversation with this cutie! Also, for this reason, a detached home rather than a townhouse or apartment would be ideal to keep the peace with neighbors. Plus with her wonderful hound instincts it's probably best to not leave her with small critters, so she should live in a home without rabbits or other small prey animals. We’re not yet sure how she feels about cats. Hi! This is our baby boy Deuce. We’ve had him for almost 2 years. He’s a blue tick/ XL bully and he’s a big man. Unfortunately, with his breed he’s a very active pup and would be better somewhere with yard space. He’s very active and energetic. Confiscated by Animal Control after being found in a garage with five other dogs. His hold at our city shelter was 2 weeks to give owners a chance to reclaim him but thank goodness they didn’t. He was severely underweight and has spent the last month fattening up! Despite being skin & bones, he’s been a sweetheart since day 1. Intentionally named, Sherlock explores everything with his nose and is quick to figure things out including where the food is and how to use the doggy door. Understandably, his favorite place to be is in the kitchen where he hopes to find food left unattended on the counter. He is rather sensitive about sharing so should other dogs be in the house, it’s best to feed completely separately. He is a bit of a busy bee in the house, always scanning for something to see or do. However, Sherlock does enjoy chilling with his humans, especially after an outdoor adventure. He is very dog friendly and would likely wear out even faster if his foster brother was more playful. He will take every toy out of the toy bin and toss it haphazardly, entertaining himself and those observing. It’s very much in his nature to let you know if he spots a squirrel or outdoor cat when in the yard. He also has a knack for understanding where the “exits” are so secure fencing or constant observation is a must. Sherlock is very people oriented. He loves people, including meeting strangers while out and about. He can be needy for affection and he’s a “leaner” if you know what I mean. He absolutely does have quite the hound howl which he uses for a few minutes initially in his crate before settling in so a space with shared walls probably isn’t ideal. He also gains a bit of attention in public with his voice. Sherlock is ready to solve the biggest mystery of all—finding his forever home! He is UTD on vaccines, kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, neutered & microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.
