Story
Henrietta, meaning “Ruler of the Home”, is way ToOoOoO formal. I’m more of a ….. Hennie (nickname) kind of gal.  At about 60# and just 1 1/2 year old, I’m a FUN LOVING, “Kick up Your Heels” Bluetick Hound Girl that loves People, Kids, other Dogs and Even Cats! WOW, yep. I’m just looking for a Good Time. One of “14” pups ready to “Pop Out” into the world when mom found herself stuck in a shelter. Lucky for us all, mom was pulled to safety by Molly’s Place Rescue in the nick of time. My sister Halle and I are the “2” lone pups still on the hunt for that special home! Yep, Saved the BEST for Last! With “Floppy Hound Ears”, an occasional Bay to make you smile, I’m an even tempered, all people friendly, tail wagging, eager to please and goofy. Not just a GOOD LOOKING HOUND with my blue ticking coloration, I also have intelligence and a keen nose that leads the brain in different directions. So, a 4 foot fence suits me best to remain safe. Still needing some basic training, my brain will come in handy once given experiences and direction. Did you note the picture of 2 “goofy Gals” peering over the fence? I’m the one on the Left! Oh, the world is SO, SOO big yet I’m ready to take it on with your help, patients and training. Come and explore the options, meet me and fall in love. I’m Hennie/Henrietta, a gal that will fill your life with love, affection and my own zest for life! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 29, 2025, 9:41 pm

Story
Halle is my name and having fun is my game! I’m a 1 1/2 y/o, 65# (about) Bluetick Coonhound gal who was one of “14” pups. My mom found herself about ready to give birth stuck in a shelter. Lucky for all of us, she was pulled to safety by Molly’s Place Rescue. My sister Henrietta and I are the “2” lone pups still on the hunt for a home! Guess just haven’t had our “Special Family/Person” come knocking yet! Did you see the picture of my sister and I looking over the fence, I’m the good looking one on the “Right”. Yep, that’s me. Still a pup at heart, I do have a lot of learning to do, but Hounds are smarter than most think. Hounds also make “The BEST FAMILY PETS EVER!” Not only am I a good looking hound dog with dark eyes, long floppy ears and a great hound “Bay”, but I’m also kid, adult, dog and even cat! Yeah, really!!! I’m an easy going, even tempered, goofy gal that does love to meet new people and am outgoing yet can sack it out once the day is done. Give me a shady spot on a summer day and I’m toast! Being a hound, it would be safest for me to have a 4 foot fence, us hounds do follow our nose ya know. A hound is a hound is a hound no matter what! So there you have it. Although I do take a while to warm up and learn to give/take love to my new owner, I’m a fun loving, droopy eared charmer with gorgeous blue tick markings that make me irresistible once met in person. So come on over, hang out! I crave affection and have a devoted loving spirit! I’m Halle, the gal who will steal your heart. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
King is a purebred Bluetick Coonhound, we call him a "Coonie" - he was a hunting hound in WV and came from a shelter there. King is a friendly hound, but can be protective of his food (he is absolutely fine as long as he is not afraid of his food might be stolen) and if he thinks someone is going to hit him (he was obviously abused before) so he should be in a home without children, or with children over 12 who are gentle and kind with animals. King is great with other dogs, typical of hounds - he is not dominant at all. He loves to play with other dogs and with toys! Being a hound, he must have a securely fenced yard and never be off-leash outside the fenced yard. King will be a wonderful family companion for someone lucky enough to know how awesome hounds can be!

These pups are in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania too!

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 12/8/25 Still available! 10/13/25 Sweet Face is an absolute sweetheart looking for her forever home. She is a young adult, about a year old, and weighs about 70 lbs. We believe she is a Catahoula mix. She is very shy but also very sweet. She is nervous in new situations. She just needs time to get used to new people and surroundings. Once she warms up she is a very happy goofy girl! She is cautious around new dogs, but is NOT aggressive. She was a street dog prior to rescue and I imagine that was learned behavior in order to survive. She is gaining confidence in her foster home and doing better every day! When she arrived at her new foster home, she hung by the door for a few hours. Flo and Asher (the foster’s dogs) were very patient with her and let her come to them when she was ready. She appears to be fully house trained and has only had one accident in her new foster home. She will come up to you for attention and to give kisses but also likes to observe what’s going on from a distance. She walks well on the leash and likes to play catch me if you can when it’s time to put her leash on to go outside. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.11/26/25 Stardust needs to find an adopter asap!! Please share!! Her foster parents’ dog just passed away and they are really struggling emotionally and need time to grieve. Not only that, Stardust has been available since April. Far too long. Please, please share. She deserves a home of her own. Stardust is a stunning girl with glorious ears and long legs. While she looks big, she’s only 40-45 pounds. She just turned 1 year old. She is crate trained and has had zero accidents in her foster home! Her potty break schedule has been very consistent and she seems to have house trained herself based on this. Clever girl! Stardust has medium energy. She gets excited at new things and scenarios but then settles down. She's currently enjoying her foster's fenced in backyard and burns off plenty of energy galloping around, sniffing, patrolling for squirrels, and playing with her foster siblings. She also loves chew toys. She isn't overly demanding in her needs: a nice romp outside, a play session, and some engaging Kongs and hooves and she's very satisfied. Add in some obedience training and lots of love and she'll be perfectly fulfilled! She is both affection-motivated and food-motivated! She's discovered couch cuddles and seems to love being hugged as well. Stardust is overjoyed at each meal she gets and wags her tail the whole time she's eating. She's definitely a candidate for a slow feeder, her food is gone in the blink of an eye. Stardust is still young and is learning how to control her long legs and sometimes smacks her foster sibling when playing, although she otherwise is very considerate with other dogs! She will occasionally very gently mouth hands when she wants to play with people, but she responds to 'no,' and is very easily redirected. Stardust is learning about walking on a leash and thinks it's great fun. It doesn't occur to her that she could go potty on a walk, she seems to think she can only do that off-leash in her foster's backyard. She's gotten used to living indoors and getting basic household manners and she's doing really well. She LOVES the neighbor's children and kisses them thru the fence! Stardust is a great dog. She wants love, and she's eager to please and do a good job! She's going to make a fantastic pet for someone! We do not know her breed, likely a mix of many breeds. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
