Story
Meet Blue, a talkative Bluetick Hound with puppy eyes that could melt anyone’s heart. Blue was found wandering the streets of Jemison, Alabama, but you’d never guess she had been alone. From the moment we met her, she was all tail wags and friendliness, greeting everyone like an old friend. Drool and all, Blue doesn’t even notice when she’s slobbering on you—she’s too busy sharing her joy. At about 4 years old, she’s the perfect mix of energy and maturity. Blue loves car rides, adores attention, and has a voice to match her hound heritage—always ready to “chat” with you in her own special way. And while she’s no puppy, her soulful eyes still sparkle with that same sweet innocence. Blue is looking for a forever family who will appreciate her goofy charm, hound “conversations,” and all the love she has to give. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’s equal parts sweetheart and sidekick, Blue is waiting to meet you.

Story
Henrietta, meaning “Ruler of the Home”, is way ToOoOoO formal. I’m more of a ….. Hennie (nickname) kind of gal.  At about 60# and just 2year old, I’m a FUN LOVING, “Kick up Your Heels” Bluetick Hound Girl that loves People, Kids, other Dogs and Even Cats! WOW, yep. I’m just looking for a Good Time. One of “14” pups ready to “Pop Out” into the world when mom found herself stuck in a shelter. Lucky for us all, mom was pulled to safety by Molly’s Place Rescue in the nick of time. My sister Halle and I are the “2” lone pups still on the hunt for that special home! Yep, Saved the BEST for Last! With “Floppy Hound Ears”, an occasional Bay to make you smile, I’m an even tempered, all people friendly, tail wagging, eager to please and goofy. Not just a GOOD LOOKING HOUND with my blue ticking coloration, I also have intelligence and a keen nose that leads the brain in different directions. So, a 4 foot fence suits me best to remain safe. Still needing some basic training, my brain will come in handy once given experiences and direction. Did you note the picture of 2 “goofy Gals” peering over the fence? I’m the one on the Left! Oh, the world is SO, SOO big yet I’m ready to take it on with your help, patients and training. Come and explore the options, meet me and fall in love. I’m Hennie/Henrietta, a gal that will fill your life with love, affection and my own zest for life! Kennel License # 7198 To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Story
Halle is my name and having fun is my game! I’m a 2 y/o, 65# (about) Bluetick Coonhound gal who was one of “14” pups. My mom found herself about ready to give birth stuck in a shelter. Lucky for all of us, she was pulled to safety by Molly’s Place Rescue. My sister Henrietta and I are the “2” lone pups still on the hunt for a home! Guess just haven’t had our “Special Family/Person” come knocking yet! Did you see the picture of my sister and I looking over the fence, I’m the good looking one on the “Right”. Yep, that’s me. Still a pup at heart, I do have a lot of learning to do, but Hounds are smarter than most think. Hounds also make “The BEST FAMILY PETS EVER!” Not only am I a good looking hound dog with dark eyes, long floppy ears and a great hound “Bay”, but I’m also kid, adult, dog and even cat! Yeah, really!!! I’m an easy going, even tempered, goofy gal that does love to meet new people and am outgoing yet can sack it out once the day is done. Give me a shady spot on a summer day and I’m toast! Being a hound, it would be safest for me to have a 4 foot fence, us hounds do follow our nose ya know. A hound is a hound is a hound no matter what! So there you have it. Although I do take a while to warm up and learn to give/take love to my new owner, I’m a fun loving, droopy eared charmer with gorgeous blue tick markings that make me irresistible once met in person. So come on over, hang out! I crave affection and have a devoted loving spirit! I’m Halle, the gal who will steal your heart. Story
Hi, I'm Loki. Im looking for a nice quiet place to call my forever home. I'm a very sweet boy who loves to play. I do know the basic commands all dogs know but I'd love to learn something new. At the end of the day I enjoy lots of couch cuddles with my favorite people. My human momma hasn't been treated very kindly by her man friends so I do tend to be protective with women. As long as you're kind and gentle with me, we can become friends for life no matter your gender. I would prefer to be the only dog in the house if possible but I do know how to share. If you're looking for a sweet gentleman to snuggle on the couch with and play outside on good weather days, I'm you're man.

Story
Meet Virginia: Virginia (affectionately called Ginny) is about a 3-year-old (as of August 2026) Catahoula mix (best guess) that weighs about 46 pounds. Virginia was found in Walker Park in MS after giving birth in a hollowed-out tree. Virginia was named after the Virginia Creeper climbing the tree that the rescuers found her living in with her five puppies. All of Virginia’s puppies have been adopted and now it’s this sweet mama’s turn to find her forever family. Virginia is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area. Virginia has come a long way with the love, patience, and guidance of her foster family. She currently lives with six resident dogs in the foster family’s home. Sometimes the barking can be overwhelming to her and we feel she would thrive best in a home with only one or two other dogs. We feel she would do best with a male dog in the home. Virginia is particularly fond of women. She has also spent time around many men, and with patience and positive experiences, her initial anxiety around men has greatly improved. She has only been around kids that are over 12 years and older and we think she would do best in a home with older children.  Virginia is potty-trained and has had no accidents in the home. She is doing well on walks and has enjoyed trips to the dog park. Virginia has not been around cats, so we do not know how she will be with them in the home. She does have a strong interest in chasing squirrels. We would love for Virginia to have a home with a fenced-in yard so she can play freely. Virginia is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Virginia tested heartworm positive and has started her treatment. If you are interested in showing this sweet mama the love she deserves, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Snoopy: Snoopy is about a 5.5 month old (as of July 28, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 44 pounds. He has the cutest black-and-white markings and the softest puppy eyes.  Snoopy is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area (as of May 16, 2026) and would love to meet his forever family! Snoopy is the perfect mix of playful puppy and snuggly sweetheart. He has been doing wonderfully in his foster home, including with kids and the resident dog. He loves toys and balls, enjoys playing, and is already showing what a good boy he can be with structure, love, and consistency. Snoopy's foster family has learned a lot about Snoopy. He is gentle and sweet with children. He is active and loves playing with other dogs. Snoopy would do well in a home with an active playmate. He loves toys, bones, and cozy blankets. Snoopy redirects well with bones and toys for his puppy chewing desires! He has such a soft, trusting, happy spirit already. He just wants to be near his people, play, learn, and be loved. Snoopy has been around cats and is interested in them. He will run and bark at them and then lick his new little friends. We would love for Snoopy to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. Snoopy is up to date on his puppy shots and neutered. He is crate-trained and potty-trained. If you are interested in giving this little cutie a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Snoopy's Backstory: This litter of cuties (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Goldie, Snoopy, Dottie and Daisy) was found as strays with their mom in a rural area in Mississippi. Luckily the person who spotted them took them and dropped them at a local animal shelter. We heard about the need to get them into a rescue and were able to step up. Story
Meet Bo: Bo is a 1 and a 1/2 year old (as of April 2026) Catahoula/Pit mix that weighs 86 pounds. Bo was originally rescued from another organization, but due to unexpected personal circumstances his current owner has no choice but to rehome him and the original shelter said if they took him back he would end up on the euthanasia list. Our rescue stepped in to make sure this handsome boy could avoid that fate and find the right home for him to thrive for a long and happy life! Bo is currently being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Bo absolutely adores people — from kids to adults! He loves attention. Bo is a big, happy, high-energy boy who just needs the right home — a secure setup and someone willing to give him the structure and the love he deserves. Bo has a history of jumping the fence in his old house, his new home would need a tall fence and someone willing to work with him to know his boundaries to stay in the yard. Bo has been friendly with other dogs he’s met but prefers canine friends that are close to his size. He does have a strong prey drive, so he would not do well in a home with small pets/cats. Bo is already house trained and crate trained!   Bo is up to date on his shots and neutered. Bo is ready for his forever family - could it be you?! If you think he could be your new playmate and love bug, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
