Meet our longest resident, Luna! Luna is a Black Lab–Bluetick Coonhound mix who has a gentle soul and more energy than you might expect. She loves to chase balls and nuzzle up with her handlers! She is on a healthy weight journey, and her future family will get to be part of that through continued walks, playtime, and a steady routine. Currently Luna goes to the Animal Therapy Center, where she is able to participate in hydrotherapy. Luna is an absolute favorite at the ATC and does extremely well in the car when transporting there and back! Luna will need to be the only animal in the home. She does not do well with other dogs, but she is currently working on this with our team at the ranch and external training. Luna would do best in a home that can provide her love & commitment to her journey. She’s an incredibly rewarding companion waiting for her forever family. Luna's adoption fee is a donation of your choice which includes each animal fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. Story
I adopted Dewey from the Humane Society when he was just a puppy, and he has grown into such a wonderful dog. He’s loving, loyal, and a great listener. Dewey is a happy, affectionate guy who gets very excited to see people — he doesn’t always realize how big he is, so don’t be surprised if he jumps up to give you a kiss! ❤️Dewey is crate trained and does wonderfully overnight. Once he’s in his crate for bedtime, he settles right down and you won’t hear a peep from him until morning. He is also fully house-trained and does not have accidents in the house.Dewey is a sweet, family-friendly dog who loves being around his people. He has so much love to give and would make an amazing companion for the right family. He’s truly a great dog, and I hope to find him a loving home where he’ll be just as loved and cared for as he deserves.
