🌟 Meet Lottie: The Sweetest Tripod You’ll Ever Meet 🎂 Age: 2 years old 🐶 Breed: Bluetick Coonhound Mix ⚖️ Weight: 40 lbs Lottie has been through more in her short life than most dogs ever should. After being found injured and suffering from a severe leg injury, she underwent a front leg amputation that ultimately gave her a second chance at a pain-free life. Through it all, Lottie has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and endlessly trusting. One look from her big brown eyes and floppy ears will completely melt your heart. Lottie wakes up each morning ready to shower her people with love. In fact, she insists on receiving the proper amount of morning kisses before she’ll even head outside to potty. She greets her family with sweet hound howls and believes every person she meets is simply a friend she hasn’t met yet. At less than two weeks post-surgery, Lottie is still focusing on healing and recovery. Right now, her favorite activities include lounging on the couch, soaking up affection, and being close to her people. She’s not particularly interested in toys, but she absolutely thrives on love and companionship. We can’t wait to watch her confidence and personality continue to blossom as she fully recovers. 💉 Veterinary Care Lottie is: ✅ Spayed ✅ Up to date on vaccinations through 5/27/27 ✅ Receiving ongoing post-operative care following her leg amputation 🏡 Ideal Home Lottie is looking for a family that will spoil her with affection and include her in daily life. She is incredibly adaptable and would fit into many different home environments, provided there is plenty of love—and preferably a couch or two designated for her use. A fenced yard would be ideal, as Lottie enjoys greeting neighbors and making new friends wherever she goes. 🐾 Compatibility ❤️ Loves people of all ages ❤️ Does well with other dogs ❤️ Friendly and social with new people ❓ Cats unknown 🍖 Special Notes Lottie has developed some strong opinions about food. After receiving countless medications hidden in treats and meals during her recovery, she has become quite the food detective. She carefully investigates every bite and is remarkably skilled at locating hidden pills. Her current favorite treat? American cheese slices. ✂️ Grooming Lottie has no special grooming requirements beyond occasional brushing and routine care. 🎓 Training Lottie has experience with a crate and is continuing to work on house training. Recently, she has been left loose overnight and while her foster family is away, with only two accidents reported. She continues to make excellent progress and responds well to consistency and routine. ❤️ Why You’ll Love Lottie Lottie is the definition of resilience, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Despite everything she’s endured, she remains one of the gentlest dogs we’ve ever met. She doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a family to adore, and plenty of kisses. Any family would be lucky to call this sweet girl their own. 📋 Apply to adopt Lottie: https://linktr.ee/uudogrescue DS# 403072

Meet Banner! Banner is an amazing, gentle, and incredibly handsome hound with a personality that’s impossible not to love. He is charming and possesses that beautiful, melodious vocal bay that most hounds only dream of having. True to his hound nature, Banner will eagerly follow his nose wherever an intriguing scent may lead him—because of this, a secure, fenced yard is absolutely essential for his safety and happiness. Banner thrives best in a home where he can be thoughtfully and patiently introduced to other dogs, especially males, as he naturally wants to be the leader of the pack. He also has a playful side and is known to chew through leashes that aren’t chew proof, so sturdy gear is recommended for this clever fellow. While Banner can be a bit shy at first, particularly around some men, he warms up quickly and transforms into the wiggliest, most affectionate chunk of love you’ll ever meet. His gentle spirit and joyful energy make him a wonderful companion for the right home.If you would like to meet this charming, gorgeous boy and see if he’s the perfect fit for your family, please submit your application at: http://www.forestcountyhumanesociety.orgSl268250For best response to an inquiry about this animal, please visit www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org, fill out an application and return it to us. Story
Meet Archer! Archer is a lovable, affectionate puppy with a heart as big as his personality. He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be wherever his family is. Whether he's following you around the house, exploring the yard by your side, or curling up for a nap nearby, Archer is happiest when he's with his people. Like any young puppy, Archer is still learning the ropes. He's working hard on crate training, leash training, basic commands, and good manners. He may cry or bark for a few minutes when first settling into his crate because he'd rather be with his foster family, but he settles down quickly and does very well overnight. He sleeps quietly in his crate, has had no accidents, and typically only needs one potty break during the night. Archer is a smart boy who is eager to learn and eager to please. He's making great progress but still has typical puppy habits like jumping, chewing, chasing things, and occasionally using his mouth during play. Because everything still seems like a toy to him, he'll need supervision and continued training as he grows. This friendly guy loves everyone he meets, including children. He has interacted well with kids ages 2–6 and enjoys all the attention and affection they can offer. One of Archer's favorite things in the world is giving hugs. He loves to greet people with enthusiasm, shower them with kisses, and if you'll let him, climb right into your lap for some cuddle time. His foster family says he gives some of the best hugs around and has the softest velvet ears you'll ever want to pet. When it comes to playtime, Archer is always ready for fun. He loves stuffed animals and believes every plush toy belongs to him. Once he finds a favorite, he'll proudly carry it off to his crate where he can enjoy it in peace. He also loves sniffing around the yard, going for walks, chewing on toys, and then settling in for a well-earned nap. Archer has a medium energy level and would thrive in a home that can provide daily exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. A yard or safe outdoor space where he can run, sniff, and explore would be a huge bonus. With patience, consistency, and love, Archer has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion. He's affectionate, playful, curious, and eager to learn. Most of all, he's a puppy who simply wants to love and be loved and he's ready to find a family to call his own.

Story
Tracker is a sweet, calm, and lovable puppy who is quickly growing into a confident young dog. He has all the playful charm of a puppy while also displaying an impressive ability to settle down and relax. Whether he's exploring the yard, playing with a toy, or snoozing on his back with all four paws in the air, Tracker is sure to bring smiles wherever he goes. One of Tracker's most impressive qualities is how well-behaved he is for his age. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate without whining or barking and often chooses to nap there during the day on his own. He is comfortable being crated when his foster family is away or busy, and he handles it like a champ. Tracker enjoys exploring the world with his mouth, as puppies do, but he is very gentle and learns quickly. A simple "no" is often all it takes for him to leave an object alone and move on. Tracker is doing wonderfully with leash walking and gains confidence every day. He loves being outdoors and enjoys exploring new sights and smells. His foster family notes that he seems to have a particularly keen sense of smell and is always curious about his surroundings. This handsome boy has been living with children ages 11, 13, and 15 and has been fantastic with all of them. He is patient, gentle, and tolerant, even when younger kids want to play chase, cuddle, or shower him with attention. Despite his growing size and giant paws, Tracker is remarkably gentle and easygoing. When it comes to other dogs, Tracker is very interested in making friends. He would love the opportunity to meet and interact with canine companions, although he can be a little unsure when other dogs bark at him. With positive experiences and continued confidence-building, he should continue to blossom socially. Tracker loves attention and enjoys brushing, belly rubs, and pets of all kinds. He is not much of a lap dog due to his size, but he loves being near his people. Interestingly, he rarely jumps on people and prefers to greet new friends with a sniff before continuing his adventures. His favorite activities include playing with tennis balls, rope toys, and chew toys, followed by long naps to recharge. He has bursts of puppy energy in the evenings but is generally a calm and adaptable companion. In fact, during basement construction at his foster home, including heavy equipment, drilling, pounding, and workers coming and going, Tracker barely batted an eye and spent most of the time sleeping through the commotion. Tracker's foster family adores his goofy personality. He gallops around with his oversized paws like a little Clydesdale, occasionally tumbling in the grass or sliding across smooth floors as he figures out where all his legs are supposed to go. His giant floppy ears, soft coat, and playful antics make him impossible not to love. Tracker would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, attention, and opportunities to continue building his confidence. A family with a large yard or room to explore would be ideal. Most importantly, he needs a family willing to be patient as he learns and experiences new things. In return, they'll get an incredibly sweet, adaptable, and loyal companion who is ready to grow up by their side. If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing puppy with a heart of gold and a fun-loving spirit, Tracker may be the perfect addition to your family!

Smart, happy dog. Really Great with kids! Loves to play tug and go for runs, but needs more activity than we are able to provide. Needs a big, fenced yard or a country home. Give him a stuffed duck and he'll tear out the honker and bring you it's skin! ;-DVery loving and expressive.
