Story
Hello World,
My name is Blissful and Beloved Bentley --and I’m a three or four-year-old bichon boy who is ready to find my forever family! I’m a handsome Bichon boy, with white and apricot hair, and weigh a very huggable 18 pounds and I have a whole lot of fun packed into an adorable package! (Oh, silly me? I’m not a package… I’m a FurKid!)
I’m housebroken, rarely bark and have no separation anxiety. I ride nicely in the car and enjoy my walks around the neighborhood. (I call them my adventures, as there is so much to see, sniff and explore.)
Did someone mention PLAYTIME? Well, now you really have my attention! You see I LOVE to play! I especially love to play with squeaky toys! And, something special about me is that I don’t believe a toy has to actually squeak in order to be a squeaky toy. Once the squeaker “disappears”, I just keep playing with it. (Mom calls it “not giving up on the toy.”)
Another of my favorite things to do is ROMP! I have a great time playing with my foster doggy brother and other doggy friends, as I really enjoy having canine companionship! Having another pup or two in my Forever Home makes life more fun.
After running and playing, I enjoy SNUGGLING! Now you may call it cuddling and that’s fine with me! I love climbing onto your lap and settling in for some serious cuddle time. And, if you happen to get up and walk somewhere, well, I’ll probably come along. I’m very loyal plus I like being where the action is! If something fun is happening, I want to know about it.
Mom says I’m a smart boy who is eager to please! I already know commands like “sit,” “wait” and “no,” --and I’m definitely ready to learn more! When I meet new people, I’m a bit shy and reserved but that changes quickly once I know you. A slow introduction helps me feel comfortable --then my very sweet and affectionate nature shines through. I’m friendly with visitors of all kinds --I just like my introductions to be on the polite and thoughtful side please.
So let’s see... I’m playful, I like other dogs, I love toys, I enjoy running around, I’m treat-motivated, I’m easy to train, I’m housebroken, I’m a good car rider AND I’m a professional snuggler.
What more could you possibly want?
Well... another dog, of course!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I believe I hear a squeaky toy calling my name.
(Well... technically it stopped squeaking about three weeks ago. But I’m not giving up on it!)
