Meet Cashmere! 🐾 Cashmere’s story is one of resilience and hope. She was found by one of our staff members running down the street on Thanksgiving, in desperate need of help. She was extremely matted, and one of her eyes was completely covered and could not be saved, but she’s on her way to receiving the care she needs, including veterinary treatment to remove the damaged eye. Despite the hardships she’s faced, Cashmere has a gentle, loving spirit that shines through. This sweet girl is quiet, soft-spoken, and moves through the world with a calm, thoughtful presence. She’s low-energy and enjoys relaxing in a safe, comfortable space, making her perfect for a home that can offer patience, love, and understanding. Cashmere is shy at first and needs time to warm up to new people and environments, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. Cashmere is family-friendly and gets along well with other dogs. Her playstyle is submissive, and she has a soft mouth, showing just how gentle and considerate she can be. She responds wonderfully to gentle, affection-based training and handles corrections gracefully, proving she’s smart and eager to learn. What Cashmere needs most is someone who can provide a calm, nurturing environment where she can feel safe and loved. With patience and care, this quiet, tender-hearted girl will flourish, offering endless affection and loyalty to the person who earns her trust.

Story
Missy is one of two dogs that were abandoned in a taxi cab and then dropped off at Jelly's Place. She is initially shy and guarded, but once you gain her trust she can't get enough of you. Missy loves cuddles, being next to her person, and playing with her ball. She is house & crate trained, and is working on leash walking. She must be kept on a leash if out in an unfenced area. She is not fond of people in general and will need some work on that. she gets along with other small dogs given time. Missy will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated as part of the adoption process. If interested in meeting this sweet girl, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org.
