Meet Haagen, a handsome male poodle mix looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and supported. 💙 Haagen is a sensitive, medium-energy boy who is shy at first and needs time to adjust to new people and environments. As trust builds, his affectionate personality comes through—he’s motivated by love and responds best to gentle handling and positive reinforcement. He is dog selective and can be reactive with larger dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important. Haagen would benefit from continued socialization with both dogs and people, always at a pace that respects his comfort level. He does well with cats and would enjoy a structured, predictable home. With patience, consistency, and kindness, Haagen will reward his adopter with loyalty and a deep, meaningful bond. He’s a special boy looking for someone willing to give him the time he needs to truly shine. 🐾

Story
Missy is one of two dogs that were abandoned in a taxi cab and then dropped off at Jelly's Place. She is initially shy and guarded, but once you gain her trust she can't get enough of you. Missy loves cuddles, being next to her person, and playing with her ball. She is house & crate trained, and is working on leash walking. She must be kept on a leash if out in an unfenced area. She is not fond of people in general and will need some work on that. she gets along with other small dogs given time. Missy will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated as part of the adoption process. If interested in meeting this sweet girl, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org. Note: Missy is in a foster home so is available to meet by appointment only.
