I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog E:3  Barley is a mild senior poodle boy with a calm and steady demeanor looking for a forever home that understands that everything in moderation is the key to contentedness. He enjoys exploring in the yard, is indifferent to coexisting with other respectful small dogs, and walks well on leash at a moderate pace. Barley checks in regularly for gentle pets and affection although he currently prefers shoulder and back pets, as he is a little sensitive to hands approaching his head. As a senior poodle gentleman of distinction, he will need a quiet home, preferably adult-only (but dog savvy kids 13+ may be ok, definitely no young children for this boy) and people that understand his grooming needs.
