Story
Meet our tiny girl with a big second chance
This sweet 2–3 year old miniature doodle mix (just a little over 10 lbs, very petite!) is currently in an amazing board-and-train program, and she is truly proving what happens when a dog is given understanding, structure, and love.
She was rescued from the euthanasia list due to some low-level bite strikes — these never broke skin and were more like mouthy, warning-type responses. She does not like being startled or approached without warning, but she is very social, affectionate, and loving once trust is built. We knew this was not an unfixable dog — just one who needed the right environment and guidance.
With training, she is learning how to make better decisions and choices, and her progress has been incredible. Her report card says it all . She even did amazing in the car during transport straight to training!
Legacy of Love Rescue stepped up and pulled her, and thanks to generous sponsors, her board-and-train has been fully covered.
She will be available for adoption in about two weeks, and her adopter will receive a training session to ensure a smooth transition and continued success with everything she has learned.
Now we are asking:
Is there someone willing to open their heart and home to this beautiful little soul? She deserves a calm, loving home that will continue setting her up for success — and in return, she will give loyalty, affection, and so much love.
If you’re interested in learning more or being considered as her adopter, please reach out. This girl is proof that dogs are not broken they just need a chance
