Story
Max is lovable, sweet and loves to cuddle. He's great with small dogs and ferrets but hasn't been around big dogs or small children. He loves birds and will chase them to try and play. He loves tennis balls and other toys. He loves his family, is always happy when his people come home and asks for belly rubs. He enjoys sun bathing in the yard. Max was abused when he was young and is currently in a household that struggles with anxiety and this has affected his behavior. He struggles with housetraining but uses puppy pads. He has snapped at a few people over the years, out of protection for his family. This has been managed by comforting him around visitors and/or putting him in another room. He's a good boy and we are sad to need to rehome him. We feel his behavior would improve if he were placed with the right family would could give him the nurture and training he needs and deserves.
