Story
Meet Moncho Male DOB: 4/9/2021 Weight: 13 pounds Breed: Mini Poodle / Chihuahua Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Moncho is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed—his charm is quiet, steady, and impossible to forget. At five years old, he’s fully grown into himself. He’s past the puppy stage and has settled into a calm, loving companion who knows how to simply be with his person. He’s ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel secure, and be loved for who he is. Personality Moncho is affectionate, gentle, and deeply loyal. He enjoys being close to his people and has a soft, comforting presence. He’s not overly demanding—he just wants to be near you, whether that’s sitting beside you or quietly following you from room to room. He forms strong bonds and gives his love in a calm, steady way that feels genuine. Breed Info As a Mini Poodle / Chihuahua mix, Moncho brings together: The Poodle’s intelligence, sensitivity, and trainability The Chihuahua’s strong loyalty and bond with their person This mix creates a dog who is smart, emotionally connected, and devoted, with a gentle and attentive nature. Ideal Home Moncho would do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and included. He will thrive with someone who appreciates a quieter companion and is looking for a loyal dog to share everyday life with. Owner Responsibilities Moncho will need routine care, gentle guidance, and continued love. Like all dogs, he requires proper nutrition, grooming, veterinary care, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Small dogs can be sensitive and bond closely with their people. Please ensure your home environment is stable and ready for a dog. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Moncho will truly settle in and shine. Veterinary Care Moncho is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Moncho is an indoor family dog. He is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Meet Snoopy Male DOB: November 14, 2021 (estimated) Weight: 15 pounds Breed: Terrier / Poodle Mix Neutered (Fixed) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Snoopy is a calm, loving little dog with a gentle personality and very sweet nature. He enjoys companionship, quiet affection, and simply being close to his people. Snoopy has a mellow, easygoing energy and would thrive in a peaceful, loving home where he feels safe and included. He also gets along well with: Dogs One important thing to note is that Snoopy can become protective over food around other dogs. If there is only one food bowl available, he may try to keep the other dogs away from it. This is not uncommon in rescue dogs, especially dogs who may have experienced food insecurity or survival situations in the past. Because of this, Snoopy would do best with: Separate feeding areas Structured mealtimes Supervision around food with other dogs Slow, patient guidance and routine Outside of mealtime, Snoopy is described as affectionate, calm, and very loving. As a Terrier / Poodle mix, Snoopy may show traits such as: Intelligence and emotional sensitivity Strong attachment to his people Affectionate and companion-oriented behavior Alertness and awareness A calmer but engaging personality Snoopy would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily companionship and affection Structure and routine Patience and understanding A calm, stable indoor environment He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, loving dog with a sweet soul. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear calm and well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue support and guidance after adoption. Snoopy will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Calm introductions and routine Supervised feeding routines around other dogs Patience during adjustment periods Continued socialization and companionship Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes companionship, routine veterinary care, training, exercise, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Snoopy will need: Routine veterinary care and updated vaccines Flea prevention and deworming treatment Continued training and guidance Daily companionship and interaction Proper nutrition and preventative care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because Snoopy is a Poodle mix, routine grooming and coat maintenance will also be important to help keep him comfortable and healthy. Consistent veterinary care, emotional stability, proper nutrition, and patience are all essential to helping Snoopy continue thriving in his future home. Snoopy is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
