Story
Hi, I'm Max and I hail from Texas. Just to let you know, if you've ever heard the phrase "age is just a number", well, it is definitely true. While I am a senior gentleman, I am definitely medium energy and would enjoy a good long walk or two a day. I do fine on leash, appear to be housetrained, and don't mind my crate. In general, I am friendly with people once I get to know them, and fine with dogs off leash (on walks I can be a bit leash reactive). I am not a fan of cats - I will bark and chase them. As for dogs, I prefer a slower introduction, as sometimes I will growl a bit before getting comfortable with my playmates. So, if you are ready for a little senior spunk in your life, apply today - btw, I am not a barker in general, so would be apartment/Townhome friendly! Also, my foster recently discovered that I I really enjoy watching TV! Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.
