Story
Meet Freckles! Freckles is a 3-year-old, 14-pound bundle of sweetness who looks like she stepped straight out of a storybook. While we can't say for sure what breeds make up this adorable girl, we'd guess there's a little Papillon, maybe some Chihuahua, and a sprinkle of magic mixed in there somewhere. With her soft tan-and-white coat, warm amber eyes, and those absolutely stunning fluffy ears that seem to have a personality all their own, Freckles is impossible to overlook. And if you look closely, you'll see the adorable little freckles scattered across her legs that gave her the perfect name. Every inch of her is cute, from her wispy tail to her expressive face that always seems to be asking, "Can we cuddle now?" Watch Freckle's video here! https://youtu.be/4rq0kyW3sIc?si=MJwonSJ8aj0hlxuH Freckles is a gentle soul who appreciates the quieter things in life. She's not looking for nonstop adventures or chaos—she'd much rather spend her day curled up beside her favorite person, lounging on the couch, or enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a calm, loving nature that makes her incredibly easy to be around. In her foster home, Freckles lives successfully with both dogs and cats and enjoys their company. She has a sweet, respectful demeanor and tends to approach life with kindness and patience. She's the kind of dog who brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. If you're looking for a loyal companion, a professional couch snuggler, and a dog whose ears deserve their own fan club, Freckles may be your perfect match. She's proof that sometimes the best things in life come with freckles. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Jilli is a beautiful 9 year young Mini Poodle, white/apricot. She prefers someone who is home lots of the time; because she does get attached to her people ! However if you need to go out for a few hours, tell her go to bed [to her crate, then cover it & she is quiet & settles down] BUT we only do this a few hrs a week. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed, had a recent complete dental done, so she is now putting on some weight. She eats Hills Kidney Care kibble w/ a little can food topper or cut up chicken. Here in her foster home she has gotten along with 2 other dogs but we think she would prefer to be an ONLY CHILD ;). She has good house manners, goes to the door when she needs to go out and walks quietly on her leash. Recently she has been trying to use a doggie door - still a bit leery of it patting her bum on her way in or out-poor baby. Please keep in mind Jilli is a cuddle bug, she loves to sit right next to you on the sofa or in your chair if she can squeeze in, yet she sleeps comfortably in a crate or dog bed OR in up On the bed if she’s invited. YOUR choice ! She comes when called knows the command “OFF” and is learning “ENOUGH” shush…. when she barks at deliveries or visitors coming to the door. She does enjoy the visitors once they are inside & she meets them. This girl is still a little anxious when riding in our van so we utilize CBD oil when we head to the Vets [it’s an hour drive for us]. We DO NOT know how she is with children; however the cat she has been around she has ignored ! If you would like to meet this cute cuddle bug go to: happytailshappyhomes.org. Story
***Yoshi is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes, we are assisting his owner on finding him a new loving home at no fault of Yoshi's. If you are interested in Yoshi, please fill out an application here: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** (Please read his full bio first. He will need a very specific adopter) Meet Yoshi! 🐶✨ A 6-year-old Maltese–Bichon with big personality, big feelings, and an even bigger love of snuggles (on his terms). 🎾 Throws his own ball like a self-entertaining pro 🍩 Spins into a happy “donut curl” when excited 🧸 Loves calm, one-on-one snuggle time ☀️ Sunbathes like it’s his full-time job 🎬 Perfect movie-night companion 💛 Why he’s being rehomed Yoshi was adopted five years ago when his person worked from home, but life has changed—his owner is now a touring musician who is often away and frequently moving. The constant change and lack of stability has been very stressful for Yoshi, especially given his anxiety and sensitivity to new people. 🧠 Personality & needs Yoshi is sweet and goofy in a calm home, but: 👥 Very reactive to multiple people 🚫 Not suitable for kids ⚠️ Food/resource guarding 🧍‍♂️ Does best with one trusted person and predictable routine He can relax, snuggle, and be playful when life is quiet and structured. ⚠️ Health & behavior Resource guarding, anxiety, reactivity Hip dysplasia (managed with supplements) Sensitive stomach Currently only on glucosamine 💌 Ideal home One calm, consistent adult Low-stimulation environment Experience with or patience for behavior needs Yoshi isn’t an easy dog—but with the right person, he’s a deeply loyal, funny, and affectionate little companion 💛
