Her owner suddenly became homeless and abandoned 10-year-old mama and her two "roomies", Lil Bit and Sapphire. They were left in a cage outside of one of our veterinarians office. Obviously they were frightened and bewildered. They are now in loving foster homes. Hocus & Pocus (male & female) are a pair of sweet Bombay's rescued out in the country at a hunting camp of all places. They were brought home because they were sweet and tame even though they really had not had much interaction with humans. They play and get along well with the other cat in their foster home. I've had this cat since he was about 8 months old. I actually saved him from the mouth of a coyote one night. I saw the coyote carrying him off and I made some kind of a loud noise and startled the coyote enough for him to loosen his grip on the back of Fred's neck. When I hollered Fred started hollering and wiggling around vigorously and manage to fall to the ground and run up the nearest tree. You stayed in the tree about 4 or 5 hours, then snuck in when I wasn't looking and got on top of the refrigerator where he stayed another 4 or 5 hours. I put his food at one on top of the fridge he finally came down in late afternoon.

I adopted him from the shelter a couple of months ago. He is between 2 and 3 years old. He is having a hard time adjusting due to circumstances outside of my control. He was attacked by another cat a few times, so he is skittish. He is very sweet and is a lover. He sleeps next to me every night, but can bite if I accidentally kick him. He never scratches or bites too hard. He is a very odd and funny cat. He likes to explore and be left alone, but responds to his name when called and gives lots of love.
