Story
Very loving 14 year old cat that my husband has had since she was a kitten. Shes an indoor/outdoor cat but can be solely indoor if needed. Her favorite thing to do is bask in the sun and watch the birds chirping. She uses a litter box, but also goes to the bathroom outside when outdoors. She has extreme anxiety and does not get along with other cats. Due to this, she has excessive hair pulling. All bloodwork and stool test have come back normal. Her vet explains her excessive hair pulling is due to severe anxiety. Two years ago we had a child, even though he is very gentle with her, we think she has extreme anxiety because we live in a very small studio apartment and she does not have space to roam. She gets along with people very well, and is very cuddly and loving. We would keep her, but we are moving to New York, and are unable to bring her with us.

Pi was saved from the streets of Davis, CA by a cat-lover who already had two cats. The 'lady'-cat of the house was not too keen on a second male invading her space, yet 'went along' with the scenario until Pi began to upset her repeatedly. At that time, owner reached out to see if anyone local - Tahoe, CA - would consider adding a male cat to their household. I said Yes, only to realize 45 days later that my first cat would no longer be able to live as he had been used to; but to be chased and stressed out whenever food was served. So, sorry to say... Pi is a good cat who would LOVE to be 'king of the mountain'. Play and chase and just enjoy being a cat.
