Bombay kittens & cats in Rincon, Georgia

Vixen is a sweet, indoor only, 7 year old Bombay mix. She was rescued at a year old (along with her “sister” Ellie - also listed) from a shelter in NC in 2019. She loves to cuddle, get pets, & uses people as her own personal couch. She’s ever met a stranger. She isn’t very vocal unless you aren’t giving her the requested pets, the food is empty, or she is picked up (& even then she just grumbles & comes to you to lay on). She is mostly laid back & sleeping, but hair ties & laser lights turn her into a kitten again. While my fur babies are my whole world, I just left a 10 year DV relationship with severe depression & chronic PTSD, & had to relocate to a much smaller home. The other cats (except Ellie) bully her & she has nowhere to escape from my Malamute - who just wants to play but is giant; so it scares her. I’ve spent the last 6 months trying everything to keep her, but sometimes - the kindest thing you can do for someone you love is to know when to let them go.

Meet Nova Girl — playful, sweet, and a little independent. Nova Girl is one of five kittens born to Luna, a feral mama. She’s about 21 weeks old and has been gently socialized since she was tiny. Nova is very loving, playful, curious, and confident — she loves to run, jump, climb, and explore. She also has a bit of “eldest daughter energy,” meaning she sometimes enjoys quiet alone time and will happily nap by herself. She has lived outdoors but is very interested in being indoors too, and likes cozy hiding spots (especially under the recliner!). She uses sand outdoors like a litter box, so she should litter-train easily. A calm home with love, patience, and a cat tree to scratch and climb would be perfect for her. She purrs loudly, gives sweet cuddles, and may curl up in your lap once she trusts you. She also has a brother available if you’re hoping to adopt a pair but it’s not required. And if, for any reason, things don’t work out, I will always take Nova back no questions asked.
