Story
Pancetta is the stereotypical orange, zany cat. He loves the company of humans and craves physical affection. He is pretty vocal with cute short meows and has a fluffy tail. Pancetta is about 4 years old, litter-trained, and mostly orange with some white areas. Pancetta is also FIV-positive. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and are typically not a danger to other cats. In fact, after doing some research, I had no fear of bringing him home from the shelter to my family with multiple cats. The only issue Pancetta seems to have is a sinus matter that sometimes results in dark discharge from his right nostril and eye. It doesn’t appear to bother him and he allows me to clean his face without any fuss. I’d love to keep my cat family together. However, due to a family member’s disability increasing in severity, my household has gone through significant and unexpected changes over the past few months. I now am unable to care for my pets like I used to.
