Story
Hi, I'm Lala! I am a six year old girl looking for a forever home. I am sweet, friendly, cheerful and easy going. I enjoy being petted all day and love to snuggle on your lap. I will be your perfect companion! I was surrendered with two other housemates and I get along with other cats. I can’t wait to find my new family!

Story
Looking for a loving home for our sweet Zumi 🖤Meet Zumi — a handsome 6-year-old black shorthair with the softest coat, bright green-yellow eyes, and a little white patch on his chest. He's neutered, fully vaccinated (no microchip), and in great health.Zumi has the kind of quiet, regal energy that makes a house feel like home. He's gentle with other pets — he's been an absolute sweetheart with our 16-year-old dog, basically acting like his parent. In the mornings, he loves to chat with you and politely (or not so politely) remind you it's breakfast time. Otherwise, he's calm and easygoing: happy curled up on a cushion, lounging in a sunbeam, or supervising from the kitchen table. We sadly can't keep him, and we want to make sure he goes to a kind person or family who will give him the love he deserves. If you're interested, please send a message and tell me a little about your home. Happy to chat and meet in person. 💛

Story
Freddie is a sweet cat who is the son of another cat in our home. However as he are trying to rehome some he has gotten into fights and has isolated himself from other cats. He's very lovable and quiet, tends to keep to himself. I would love to have him go to a home where he can thrive.

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. MEET LUCIFER- Proof that you should never judge a cat by his name. Despite sounding like he runs the underworld, Lu is actually a gentle little sweetheart with a soft spot for snuggles, pats, and keeping tabs on his beloved brother. Lu came from a home with many cats and was surrendered alongside his bonded brother through no fault of their own. He can be reserved at first, but once you earn his trust (which happens rather quickly), he transforms into a full-time cuddle bug. If you're looking for a cat who is secretly a marshmallow inside, and a pair of loving boys, Lu is ready for you!! *Lucifer is bonded to Junior and must be adopted together*   All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. May 27, 2026, 7:01 am

Meet Rascal - A Second Chance Story Adoption fee: $249 Includes transport Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Rascal is a stunning 2-year-old Bombay boy with a sleek, jet-black coat and the most soulful, expressive eyes. But what truly makes Rascal unforgettable is his incredible journey—and the second chance he’s been given. Rascal was brought into a local vet clinic with a urinary issue, something that’s actually quite common in male cats. Sadly, his previous owners weren’t able to afford his care and chose euthanasia. Thankfully, a compassionate vet tech couldn’t let that happen. She stepped in, took ownership of Rascal, and made sure he received the treatment he needed. Because of her, Rascal is alive today and ready for a fresh start. Now healthy and thriving, Rascal is on a special urinary diet (very common for male cats) to help keep him feeling his best long-term. He’s a friendly, affectionate boy who enjoys people and does well with other cats. He has a calm, loving nature and will happily be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, or your quiet companion. Despite everything he’s been through, Rascal is still trusting, gentle, and full of love. He truly deserves a forever home where he will be cherished and never face uncertainty again. Rascal has already been let down once—we’re committed to making sure that never happens again. If you’re ready to open your heart to a resilient, loving cat with a beautiful soul, Rascal is waiting for you. 🐾 We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime.
