Story
Hi, we are Lala and Lucy - six year old sweethearts looking for our forever home. I’m Lala, the black cat with bright green eyes. I’m friendly, cheerful, and easygoing. You’ll often find me playing with a toy mouse or watching the neighborhood from a sunny window. When you come home, I’ll be waiting by the door so I can be the first to welcome you back! I love pets, snuggles, and being close to you. And I’m Lucy, the one with the unique black‑and‑white pattern. I can be just a little bit shy at first, but give me a few minutes and I’ll come over to say hello. I’m gentle, quiet, and incredibly affectionate once I warm up. I love, love, love curling up next to you and getting my belly rubbed. We grew up together, probably sisters, and we’re hoping to find a home with someone kind who will keep us together.

Story
I am Darth Vader. Once, I lurked in the shadows of my galaxy, convinced the Dark Side was my only path. But thanks to my foster humans, I have discovered a new Force: toys, treats, and gentle companionship. My injuries are healing nicely, and every day I grow stronger. I have gone from hiding from the world to seeking out playtime, interaction, and the occasional opportunity to supervise my human subjects. I still prefer a small, secure space where I can feel safe as I continue my journey. A quiet room, cozy hideaway, or dedicated cat sanctuary would be the perfect command center for me. While I may be a special needs and rehab foster, I have proven that even the most cautious Sith Lord can learn to trust. I am available for fostering or foster-to-adopt, and I am ready to continue my transformation with a family of my own. Join me, and together we can rule the living room. Apply to meet Darth Vader today. The Force is waiting. 🖤 If you are interested in fostering or fostering to adopt Darth Vadar, email: kc@kittyconnection.net

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. MEET LUCIFER- Proof that you should never judge a cat by his name. Despite sounding like he runs the underworld, Lu is actually a gentle little sweetheart with a soft spot for snuggles, pats, and keeping tabs on his beloved brother. Lu came from a home with many cats and was surrendered alongside his bonded brother through no fault of their own. He can be reserved at first, but once you earn his trust (which happens rather quickly), he transforms into a full-time cuddle bug. If you're looking for a cat who is secretly a marshmallow inside, and a pair of loving boys, Lu is ready for you!! *Lucifer is bonded to Junior and must be adopted together*   All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. June 21, 2026, 5:11 pm

Meet Rascal - A Second Chance Story Adoption fee: $249 Includes transport Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Rascal is a stunning 2-year-old Bombay boy with a sleek, jet-black coat and the most soulful, expressive eyes. But what truly makes Rascal unforgettable is his incredible journey—and the second chance he’s been given. Rascal was brought into a local vet clinic with a urinary issue, something that’s actually quite common in male cats. Sadly, his previous owners weren’t able to afford his care and chose euthanasia. Thankfully, a compassionate vet tech couldn’t let that happen. She stepped in, took ownership of Rascal, and made sure he received the treatment he needed. Because of her, Rascal is alive today and ready for a fresh start. Now healthy and thriving, Rascal is on a special urinary diet (very common for male cats) to help keep him feeling his best long-term. He’s a friendly, affectionate boy who enjoys people and does well with other cats. He has a calm, loving nature and will happily be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, or your quiet companion. Despite everything he’s been through, Rascal is still trusting, gentle, and full of love. He truly deserves a forever home where he will be cherished and never face uncertainty again. Rascal has already been let down once—we’re committed to making sure that never happens again. If you’re ready to open your heart to a resilient, loving cat with a beautiful soul, Rascal is waiting for you. 🐾 We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. Meet Queen! Adoption fee: $299 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 We have a lot of kittens available for adoption, so please be sure to look at all of the kittens we have! Queen is a beautiful little kitten who is currently living in a foster home with several other kittens, including Bear, Lurleen, and the 3 orange boys, Julian, Pappy, and Taylor. She has been raised in a social environment and loves playing, exploring, and snuggling with her kitten friends. Queen is approximately 8-9 weeks old, healthy, friendly, and ready to find her forever home. She is playful, affectionate, and curious about everything around her. Whether she's chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, or curling up for a nap, Queen is sure to bring lots of joy and laughter to her new family. Because kittens do best with a feline companion, Queen can be adopted with any of her foster friends as a pair if you don't already have a young feline in the home to bond and play with. Two kittens are always better than one! If you're looking to add some fun, love, and kitten energy to your home, Queen may be the perfect match for you.
