Story
She came from a broken, abusive home where a child broke her tail. She arrived at my house as a baby, skittish and scared. Now she's almost 15 years old. She's not a lap cat, and she used to be aggressive, but then I got her fixed, and now she's a whole different cat. She's loving, but it takes her a while to warm up. She's not good with kids, and normally will run and hide if anyone new comes into the house. She is very loving and looks for attention when she gets to know you, which doesn't take very long. She has some sort of PTSD! Other than that, I wouldn't say it's a good idea to pick her up, but she looks for love and will come to get pets from you. She definitely favors women over men. I have two teenage boys, and she loves them, so maybe not all men. But if any man walks into my house, she'll run and hide and won't come near them for a while. She has hyperthyroidism and I can’t afford it anymore!

Story
My name is Minnie Meower. I am a pretty 2 year old lady. I was living under someone’s shed. Fortunately, she noticed me before the snowstorm hit and she took me inside. I didn’t belong to anyone and she couldn’t keep me so she reached out for help and Kitty Connection took me in to find my forever home. I’ve been a little stressed since bouncing around from my rescuer to vets and in a foster home. I am a friendly girl who enjoys sleeping in bed with you and snuggling on the couch. I’ve been a little temperamental since the moving around and vet appointment since I had a little extra surgery because of an umbilical hernia. I would do fine in a home as an only cat as it doesn’t seem like I want to be bothered with other cats. I do like exploring and playing. I’m just happy to be safe inside and hoping a family will take good care of me and love me forever.

Story
My name is Scooter and I am a very friendly and well adjusted one year-old male. I settle into my new environment pretty quickly and I love exploring and being around people. I’m a typical cat who enjoys playing and getting into mischief. I don’t seem to be bothered by other cats so I probably would do best having a friend or adopting me with another cat that I get along with

Story
My name is Boss and I am a 2 to 4 yr old male. Sadly, my owner cannot keep me because we are not all getting along some of the cats do not like me since I was the new kid on the block. It was only fair that she would try to find me another home. I did test positive for FIV but I am in great health And can have a long healthy life ahead of me with annual exams. I’m a very playful guy and I’m very loving and affectionate. I’m great with children. I’m hoping it won’t be long for me to find my forever home to know me is to love me.

Story
Hi I’m Splinter! I’m a three year old tuxedo female. I came to Kitty Connection after unfortunate circumstances. I love my space and quiet, and require some patience. I can be spicy sometimes and I like to get my way, but once I get to know you I will follow you everywhere and will keep you company. I like to sit in my foster parent’s bed and sit next to them during dinner. For now I am an only child, but my mom says I am a sweet girl. I don’t like noise, and children or a lot of people. Although I am super shy, I am starting to warm up to my foster family and love being around them. My fur-ever family must be experienced cat owner(s) with no young children and must live in a house to adopt me.

Story
Hi… excuse me? Do you have a lap and a little room in your heart? I’m about 4 years old, and my life has changed a lot in a short amount of time. My first human passed away, and recently, my second human did too—just a few weeks ago. After that, I was picked up by Animal Control and eventually found my way to Kitty Connection Rescue, and now I’m safe in a foster home where I’m learning what it means to rest again. I was spayed last week, and the vets discovered I had a uterine infection, but it was caught just in time. I’m healing, decompressing, and slowly figuring out this new chapter of my life. I might seem a little shy at first, but underneath that, I’m a big love bug. Once I feel safe, I want to be wherever you are. I’m a shadow cat—I’ll sit with you, curl up next to you, and gently meow when I need a little extra love. When I’m happy, I purr, knead, and throw my whole body into my headbutts (it’s kind of my signature move). I have tiny paws and a very big heart. I’m still learning to feel brave again. I’d do best in a calm home with someone patient who can read my cues while I settle in. I’m scared of dogs, and new things can be overwhelming, but with time and kindness, my sweet side shines through. All I really want is a safe place to land and a human who will let me be close. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just wants to love and be loved… I think we might be perfect for each other. Love, Stormy 💕💕
