Story
Tipper is a great cat. He likes to sit outside in the yard and will not wander off. We call him tipper because he has a black tail except for the tip of it is white. I wish I could keep him, but I just have too many cats at my house and need to rehome. He loves to be around people.

Story
Meet Tofu, a chunky little cuddle bug who deserves the BEST life indoors with lots of love!IMPORTANT INFO:- Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat- ROSES Rescues is located in Houston, TX. We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.**- Tofu's adoption fee is $315.- With proper introductions Tofu may do well with another cat (better with males than females) or a calm and respectful pup. She would be fantastic as an only cat or if adopted with one of her kittens.---Tofu was found on the streets of Houston with her two kittens (Bean and Edamame, also adoptable). They were all initially supposed to be trapped, fixed, and returned to their outdoor colony, but Tofu and her babies were way too friendly to be put back out on the street! Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on!Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. We're just glad to help be part of Tofu's journey to a forever home in a much better place!!Tofu is a pretty big cat at almost 13 lbs, but that just means there is more of her to love. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). We haven't tried it yet, but given how food-motivated she is, you might even be able to train her to do a few tricks!---Tofu is ~1.5-3 years old (it's very hard to pin down an exact age!), in great health, spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home!Adopt Tofu (and maybe one of her adorable kittens!), and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun.---The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatTofu and her kittens are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes (cost is included in adoption fee).———ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx.

Story
Star is a breathtakingly beautiful, two-year-old fluff queen with a personality that feels just as soft and special as her coat. From the moment you meet her, you notice her gentle charm and curious spirit. She has that perfect balance of affectionate and independent that so many people hope to find in a cat. She absolutely adores attention and will happily soak up all the scratches you are willing to give. Chin rubs, head pats, and those slow, comforting pets down her fluffy back are some of her favorite things. When she is in the mood for love, she leans right into you and melts into the moment, making it clear just how much she enjoys being close to her people. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ofJwAnDG9SY?si=zBqX9V97sNdcurCF At the same time, Star has a wonderfully independent side that makes her such an easy and rewarding companion. She is the kind of cat who enjoys exploring her surroundings, finding cozy little nooks, and claiming special spots as her own. Watching her quietly investigate the world around her is part of her charm. She brings a peaceful, natural energy into a home just by being herself. Star thrives with people who understand and appreciate a cat who can be both loving and self-assured. She enjoys connection, but she also values her space and will let you know when she is ready to come back for more affection. That balance makes every moment you earn her attention feel even more special. With her stunning fluffy coat, her sweet nature, and her quietly adventurous personality, Star is the kind of cat who will truly shine in a home that gives her both love and respect. She is not just looking for a place to stay, she is looking for her person, someone who will appreciate her unique rhythm and let her personality fully blossom. If you are searching for a cat who will bring warmth, beauty, and a little bit of magic into your everyday life, Star might be exactly who you have been waiting for. Story
Alfred is the definition of a happy little kitten. He is around 3 months old and is currently in that absolutely adorable stage where everything in life is exciting, fun, and worth pouncing on. He is tiny, goofy, playful, affectionate, and completely full of personality. The world is basically one giant playground to him, and he is determined to explore every inch of it with maximum enthusiasm. This sweet boy spends his days running around with endless kitten energy, batting toys across the floor, chasing his siblings, and doing dramatic little sneak attacks before bouncing away proudly like he accomplished something huge. Watching him play is genuinely hilarious because he throws his whole tiny body into everything he does. He has the cutest little zoomies and loves launching himself at toys twice his size with complete confidence. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/h9Ua1swgE2I?si=-KPw231HD246zM4q But underneath all that silliness is a very loving little kitten who absolutely adores people. Alfred is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to his humans. He loves pets, attention, and curling up beside you once he finally tires himself out from all his adventures. He has such a sweet face and gentle nature, and he gives off the kind of warmth that instantly makes you feel attached to him. He is also extremely curious and smart. He wants to know what you are doing at all times and will happily “help” with everything, whether that means climbing into your lap, investigating bags, chasing moving feet, or sitting right in the middle of whatever task you are trying to complete. He is the perfect mix of playful chaos and loving companion. Alfred would thrive in a home that understands kittens need lots of enrichment, playtime, patience, and love while they grow. He would love another playful cat friend or a family ready to spend lots of time interacting with him. He is still very young and discovering the world, and every day with him feels fun and full of life. He has the kind of personality that makes people fall in love fast. He is sweet without being shy, playful without being wild, and cuddly without ever losing that silly kitten charm. Alfred is truly the kind of kitten that turns a house into a happier place the second he walks into it. Story
Bean Chip has the kind of quiet confidence that doesn't ask for attention, it simply invites curiosity. The kennel door opened, and before any of his siblings had decided what to do, Bean Chip calmly stepped out to investigate. It wasn't a dramatic entrance or a burst of fearless energy. He simply looked around as if to say, "Well...someone has to see what's out here." A few moments later, his siblings followed his lead. He's thoughtful, observant, and just brave enough to inspire everyone else to take that first step too. Go watch Bean Chip, the Quiet Trailblazer on YouTube, then come right back to read more! You'll see him become the very first kitten to leave the safety of the kennel and begin exploring the room, quietly encouraging his siblings to do the same. Watch him cautiously investigate the wand toy, giving it a few thoughtful swats before deciding whether it deserved more of his attention. One of the sweetest moments comes when all four kittens are placed on the couch. While the others immediately begin plotting their escape, Bean Chip simply sits back, taking it all in with those curious eyes before deciding what to do next. Estimated to be around 2.5 months old, with an estimated birthday of May 1, 2026, Bean Chip is an all-black Bombay-type kitten. As with all rescue animals, his age and breed are our best educated guess! Bean Chip is part of a litter of four kittens who came to Three Little Pitties and have spent time safely quarantined due to Panleukopenia exposure. They have received excellent care, and now they're healthy, growing, and ready to discover something they've never really known before—a home! Although Bean Chip was the most reserved of his litter during our visit, his curiosity was always stronger than his hesitation. He wanted to explore. He wanted to investigate the toys. He wanted to know what was happening around him. He simply preferred to do it at his own pace. Watching him carefully consider each new experience made every little moment feel meaningful. The wand toy definitely caught his attention. He wasn't the kitten launching himself through the air or chasing it with wild abandon. Instead, he approached thoughtfully, reached out with a gentle paw, and gave it a few curious swats as if he were conducting a very important investigation. It was easy to picture that playful side growing bigger as he becomes more comfortable in a home environment. Being picked up wasn't his favorite activity, but Bean Chip handled it beautifully. He never hissed, scratched, bit, or protested. After a few moments, he simply let it be known that he'd rather have all four paws back on solid ground by politely squirming his way free. For a kitten with very little socialization and no home experience, his gentle responses speak volumes about the sweet nature waiting to blossom. Because Bean Chip has spent much of his young life in quarantine, kennel life is familiar to him. He settles comfortably and takes routine in stride. We think he'll adjust wonderfully once he discovers soft blankets, sunny windows, and the simple joy of having a family all his own. Every indication suggests he's the kind of kitten whose confidence will continue to grow as the world becomes a little more familiar. Bean Chip would love a family that understands there's no need to rush a thoughtful kitten. Give him a little patience, a predictable routine, and plenty of opportunities to explore at his own pace, and you'll likely watch his quiet confidence grow into something truly special. If there's another friendly cat in the home, we imagine he'd enjoy having a companion to continue sharing life's little adventures with! Story
Some kittens make grand entrances. Chicken seems to have decided that sounds like a lot of work! As the only boy in his litter of three, Chicken has earned a reputation for being the laid-back one. While his sisters are busy making sure everyone knows exactly what they think about things, Chicken is usually nearby, quietly enjoying whatever activity is already happening. He has a remarkable talent for going with the flow, which makes him the kind of kitten who settles into new situations without much fuss and seems perfectly content being part of the group. At just two months old and weighing around 3 to 3.5 lbs, Chicken is a sleek little all-black kitten with an old-soul attitude. He may be tiny, but he carries himself with the relaxed confidence of someone who has absolutely no interest in creating unnecessary drama! Chicken enjoys all the classic kitten hobbies. Wand toys are a favorite, and if a crinkle ball or jingle ball is involved, even better. Anything that makes a little noise tends to catch his attention. He'll happily join a play session with his siblings, chase a toy across the room, and then just as happily find a comfortable spot to relax once the excitement winds down. What stands out most about Chicken is his balance. He's playful without being wild, affectionate without demanding constant attention, and independent without disappearing for hours. He enjoys cuddles, but he also seems perfectly comfortable entertaining himself or hanging out nearby. There is an easy confidence about him that makes everyday life feel simple. He doesn't need to be the center of attention to be part of the fun! For such a young kitten, Chicken has adjusted beautifully to home life. He's using the litter box well, has settled comfortably into his crate, and approaches new routines with the same calm attitude he brings to everything else. He's also a great eater and happily enjoys both wet and dry food twice a day. Like most young kittens, his sleep schedule currently consists of short bursts of activity followed by equally important naps, and his routine will become more predictable as he grows. Chicken lives in a home with a 4- to 5-year-old Goldendoodle. While they have been kept separate during the adjustment period, Chicken has shown curiosity rather than hesitation when aware of the dog's presence. The interest appears mutual, with both sides seeming more interested in making friends than creating distance. As with any introduction, a thoughtful transition is important, but Chicken's relaxed nature has made those early observations encouraging. He also gets along well with other cats and enjoys the company of his littermates. He has met a variety of adults and greets both men and women with the same easygoing attitude. He has not yet been exposed to young children, but given his age, a patient and respectful introduction would help him learn the ropes of living with younger family members. If Chicken were a person, he'd be the friend who agrees to whatever plans the group makes and somehow manages to have a great time no matter what. He's content to play, nap, cuddle, explore, and simply be part of whatever is happening around him. At just two months old, Chicken is already proving that sometimes the easiest kittens to love are the ones who don't feel the need to make a big fuss. He's happy to join in, happy to relax, and happy to keep life moving at his own comfortable pace. If Chicken sounds like the kind of companion who would fit right into your home, we'd love for you to apply!
