Story
🌙 Meet Bay! 🌙 Bay is a distinguished senior gentleman with a sleek black coat and a heart full of love. While he prefers to be the only cat in the home (he enjoys having his kingdom to himself), Bay has more than enough affection to give his people. He’s incredibly cuddly, happiest when he’s soaking up attention, curling into your lap, or purring contentedly by your side. Bay is also FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus positive). This simply means his immune system is a little weaker than other cats, but with good care and a loving home, he can live a long, happy life. He’s looking for a quiet, caring home where he can spend his golden years being cherished. If you’re hoping for a loyal, affectionate companion who will be your shadow and snuggle buddy, Bay may be the perfect match. Give this sweet senior the cozy forever home he deserves—you’ll be rewarded with endless love. 💕🐾 Bay is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

Story
Horton is a large pitch black Bombay male who was a stray wandering around with a bone in his digestion tract but is all better now! He is a sweet boy & enjoys jumping up to sit beside you or come on your lap or playing with his favorite feather teaser. His tongue is usually out - he only has 2 teeth in the front and 4 teeth in the back! He would do best in a quiet home with other mature folks such as himself. He's a unique bundle of love!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at  540-987-6050  or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. November 20, 2025, 9:53 pm

Story
Wisdom is a beautiful female black kitten with big bright green eyes. She is the most playful little girl and incredibly cuddly! She is the best of both worlds, she loves all toys and no matter what she is always purring, like a little engine! She would do well with other cats in her home as well. Wisdom is FIV+ and can live a long and healthy life with other cats.    We want to make adopting easy for you! Story
PEEWEE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! This is PeeWee, a lovely small classic female kitty who was born around 6/28/2023.  She is a bit shy and reserved, but loves to roll over for a belly rub She loves NAPS under the covers.  She loves to be petted while on your lap.  The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  She loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. She could probably be a single kitty, but would also do well with a friendly low-key kitty.  She has never been around dogs and is not recommended for a dog home. She is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm
