Story
Meet Cheerio Cheerio got her name because she was trapped with a bowl of Cheerios—and just like her namesake, she’s impossible not to smile at. This adorable little girl is the queen of the zoomies! She races through the house at top speed, chases every toy she can find, and turns ordinary moments into hilarious adventures. Life is never boring with Cheerio around. When she finally runs out of fuel, her sweet side takes over. Cheerio loves to snuggle and has the funniest habit of climbing onto your shoulders to supervise whatever you’re doing. If she’s not perched on your shoulder, she’s happily weaving through your hair, convinced it’s the perfect place to cuddle. Playful, affectionate, and full of personality, Cheerio is looking for a family that will appreciate her endless energy, goofy antics, and heart-melting cuddles. If you want a kitten who keeps you laughing and loves being close to her people, Cheerio is ready to brighten your home.    We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at  540-987-6050  or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. July 12, 2026, 5:44 pm

Story
Hi this is Charlie! A beautiful green eyed black cat! We have to unfortunately get him a new home because our current landlord does not permit cats! He’s a super shy, anxious but affectionate and sweet cat once he gets used to being around you! He needs someone patient enough to deal with his anxiety! He would love to be your new house pet!

Story
Meet Pantha Pantha may look like a tiny little panther, but she’s really a professional cuddle bug disguised in sleek black fur. She absolutely adores dogs and thinks every pup is a potential best friend. She’s also a huge fan of people and will happily soak up attention, pets, and snuggles whenever she can. Pantha gets along well with other cats too, making her an easy addition to just about any loving home. This brave little girl is curious about the world and isn’t afraid to explore new places or make new friends. Whether she’s chasing toys, following you around the house, or curling up in your lap for a nap, Pantha is happiest when she’s with her family. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts adventurous, affectionate, and irresistibly sweet, Pantha is ready to steal your heart—and probably your pillow too. Story
I adopted my pet Charlie in north carolina during trade school, had him since he was a kitten in 2020. Due to unfortunate circumstances I cannot have him anymore due to my mother health issues requiring more time for doctors visits, cancer treatments etc. Charlie is a great friend to have around and is a very calm and reserved cat. Loves to have the zoomies at 2am playing with his toys. And occasionally wanting to jump into bed and claim his corner to sleep in. He is good with other animals and loves to play with dogs and cats. If you let him outside he loves to play in the grass and sun bathe.

Story
Meet Levy — a curious little observer with the sweetest soul. She likes to watch from a distance at first, taking everything in before showing her playful (with bit of a mischievous streak) and adventurous side. Once she’s comfortable, get ready for surprise attacks on slippers and sneaky little foot ambushes. With her adorable, unique brown spots and a giant purr packed into a tiny body, Levy is the perfect mix of cautious, playful, and cuddly. We would like for her to go with her brother Levi. Story
Meet Levi — tiny paws, and a huge personality. This little guy plays hard and loves even harder. He’s full of nonstop kitten energy, always climbing, zooming, and turning your legs into his personal jungle gym. When he finally slows down, Levi is all about the cuddles and absolutely lives for belly rubs. Sweet, fearless, and endlessly entertaining, Levi is ready to steal hearts and keep everyone laughing. We would preferhim to go with his sister Levy. We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it!
