Like so many cats who find themselves in rescue, Eva didn’t choose to start over. She lost her beloved owner to cancer, and suddenly the person and home she knew were gone. Now Eva is searching for the next chapter of her life — and, most importantly, someone she can call her person again. Eva is a sweet girl who absolutely loves her cozy comforts. Give her a soft bed, a good TV show, and a human to snuggle beside, and she’s a happy girl. She loves cuddling up on cozy beds, watching TV with you, and enjoying her favorite Temptations treats because, of course, every girl deserves snacks! She’s also wonderful with other cats, so she’d be perfectly happy sharing her forever home with a feline friend. There is something especially heartbreaking about watching a cat who once had a family have to wonder where she belongs now. Eva has already experienced the loss of someone she loved. He was rescued during a recent snow and ice storm, sitting pitifully in the snow and begging to be let inside — and once he felt warmth and safety, his loving personality truly shined. Romeo is fully vetted, playful, and affectionate. He enjoys other cats with a slow, proper introduction, and he lives for cozy nights — especially snuggling up in bed where he happily makes biscuits and soaks up affection. He is the kind of cat who wants to be close, offering companionship and comfort in the sweetest ways. If you're looking for a gentle, loving cat who's grateful for every soft blanket and warm cuddle, Romeo may be your perfect match. I am FIV+ but don't let that scare you! FIV is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, and I am a lover not a fighter. With a proper slow introduction to other cats I will be the politest boy. FIV is essentially an autoimmune disease that makes me a little bit more prone to colds and dental problems. Hunter is a special, polydactyl cat! He was born with extra toes on his paws (due to a harmless genetic trait). It looks like he is wearing mittens or has thumbs! He is a friendly boy who will come across the room to greet you! We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
