Story
Ren is a very sweet 7ish year old cat. She was timid when we first got her, but within a few weeks she had warmed up to us and is now a very loving kitty. I assume she will be the same way at her new home, as she does still hide when strangers come over. She does great with both our other cat and our medium sized dog. She is fairly chill, and spends most of her time sleeping on our bed or cuddling on our laps. She also has a strong purr that can be heard from across the room! She has been extra anxious since our son was born a few years ago, and she is still jumpy whenever he is around. She's been acting out against him (I think because he is loud and unpredictable) and it hasn't gotten better as he's gotten older, so we need to find her a new home where she can thrive. I think she will do great in a house that either doesn't have children, or potentially with teenagers but I don't think she will do well in a home with small kids.

This black & white kitten wandered up on my back porch. It has been with me about 3 weeks now, and appears to be about 6-7 weeks old. It was very young when it appeared. I'm not sure I would call it a tuxedo, but it is black and white with unusual markings, including a black triangle on its nose. I have photos to share, but currently the photos aren't loading onto the profile. I will take additional photos and try again. This kitten is too young yet to be spayed or neutered (and I haven't been able to pick it up to determine the gender). I would be willing to work with the potential adopter to help with the cost of spay/neuter and shots. I have 5 other adults cats that I am caring for, and I am in poor health. For those reasons, I am hoping to get this kitten adopted. It lets me pet it, scratch its head, bumps against my leg, and purrs while it eats. Unfortunately, it is eating adult cat food, and I'm concerned it will affect its growth. I live in NW City Williamson Rd area.

Story
Romeo showed up during a bitter winter. Initially, I thought she was male, thus her name. She is a very small cat, which I think is the result of malnourishment during development. Romeo has been with me about 5 yrs, and is fully grown but is very small. She is docile for the most part, unless she feels threatened, so a slow introduction to other cats and dogs is essential. Romeo acclimated to 2 sisters in our home, which took about 6 months total. Now those sisters are deceased, and she is currently my only inside/outside cat. When Romeo started coming around, it was clear that she had an extreme upper respiratory infection, which she will carry the rest of her life. About 2 years ago, a severe infection required a vet visit and a round of antibiotics, but once through with that, she bounced back very well. Romeo is playful and very social with humans. I am a Stage IV metastatic breast cancer patient, and need to rehome my cats before I can no longer care for them.
