Reba is a one year old 42 lb border collie/australian cattle dog mix. She was rescued from MAS and had a rescue transport lined up until it was found she is heartworm positive. Reba has started treatment and will be available for adoption by May1. She is getting along well with a small dog in the household, but she is the alpha dog. She is much less confident with humans and will bark at new people that come into her home. She follows her foster mom anywhere she steps. She would do well with an adopter who has both breed experience and knows how to help the dog build confidence in situations with strangers.
