Story
Blaze is looking for an active, young couple or family to become his new family. We are rehoming him because my husband and I are 89 and 90 years old and will be having several surgeries in the next few months and know we can’t take care of Blaze.Blaze showed up as a stray about 5 years ago. He is 6 years old and is a beautiful, well-dispositioned dog. He weighs about 69 pounds and is up to date on all vaccinations and his heart worm Negative. He walks well on a leash and is house trained. He prefers to stay inside with us instead of in the yard. Blaze is protective of us and barks if the doorbell rings but when the person comes inside he is friendly. He sleeps between the door and myself at night. He is terrified of thunderstorms…but medicine from the vet helps. We would like to find a loving home for Blaze. He gets along well with other dogs and kids and meets strangers well. He’s never been around cats. Please let us know if you have any questions about Blaze.

Cooper is an adult Border Collie who has already overcome a lot in his life. He was a stray for his first five years and was adopted from a local pound in his sixth. Shortly after being adopted, he collapsed and underwent a lengthy treatment process for severe heartworm and roundworm. He has made a full recovery and is now a happy, healthy boy looking for his next loving home. His current owner has been so blessed to save and love him, but multiple disabilities and severe health complications prevent her from giving Cooper the life he truly deserves.Cooper is:• Happy and healthy following his medical recovery• A resilient survivor of severe heartworm and roundworm• Rescued from a local pound after 5 years as a stray💰 Rehoming fee: $10
