Story
He is a Mcnab lab mix. McNab isn’t an option. Rookie is a rescue that we have had for 3 years. We believe he is about 5. He’s a good dog who absolutely loves running, the snow and eating. Doesn’t care too much for water or toys or snuggling. A real solo kind of dog. Has lived with other dogs and gotten along with them. Has always had a strong prey drive and chases cats, skunks, squirrels deer etc. so small animals would maybe not be recommended. But I also strongly believe he is trainable to leave the critters alone. His biggest hurdle right now is other dogs on Leash and his reactivity towards them. We have been working wit him and have made some progrsss but he still has some work to do. He knows a plethora of commands and how to walk on a leash. He is a very patient dog when it comes kids and but also does not like to be around them. He would thrive if he was The only animal in the house but also believe with the right people he would be great anywhere
