Meet Parker! Parker is a goofy, sweet-natured pup who seems like a curious little boy turned into a dog—wide-eyed, playful, and full of heart. He’s always ready for an adventure… even if he’s a little nervous about it at first! While he’s still working on building his confidence, Parker shows more bravery every day and is eager to experience life outside the shelter. Parker came to us from a hoarding situation, so the big wide world is still a bit overwhelming for him—but he wants to explore it. He just needs a patient and understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. &#226&#156&#168 Why Parker might be perfect for you: He's playful and silly in the best way He learns from other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy He’s curious and willing to try new things (with some encouragement!) He’s looking for gentle guidance from a person who will help him blossom Parker finds a lot of comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs, and he'd do best in a home where he has a calm, social pup to show him the ropes. With the right support system—two-legged and four-legged—Parker is going to shine. Could Parker be your next adventure buddy? Call the Ranch to meet him today! Meet Lydia — Your Future Adventure Buddy and Heart-Stealer! Looking for a confident, loyal, and downright amazing dog who’s ready to light up your life? Say hello to Lydia! This fearless girl has been through some tough times, but she’s come out shining brighter than ever — full of love, spirit, and a whole lot of personality. Lydia’s journey hasn’t been easy. She came to us from another shelter where she was facing euthanasia because of a stubborn leg injury. She had to say goodbye to that leg, but don’t let that fool you — Lydia moves with the energy and joy of a dog twice her size! She’s a total fetch champion, outrunning every dog in the yard with lightning-fast zoomies that’ll leave you laughing. But wait, there’s more! Lydia LOVES car rides. Whether it’s a quick trip to the park or a scenic drive with the windows down, she’s your perfect co-pilot, tail wagging the whole way. When it comes to love, Lydia isn’t one to give her heart to just anyone — but if you’re lucky enough to earn it, you’ll have a best friend for life. She’s a little picky with dog pals but once she finds a buddy, like her inseparable friend Rodeo (a sweet deaf dog she looks out for), they become a dynamic duo of love and play. You’ll often catch her nudging Rodeo awake, saying, “Hey, time to have some fun!” Lydia would thrive in a patient, active home that’s ready for daily games of fetch, plenty of cuddles, and lots of new tricks to learn. She’s smart, playful, and oh-so-loving — and she’s ready to bring all that magic to you! Could you be the lucky human to give Lydia the forever home she deserves? Call the Ranch and come meet this incredible girl today — but be warned: you just might fall head over heels! Story
Red showed up as a stray over a year ago. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He needs to be in yard with a secure, six-feet high fence. He has been an outdoor dog and is not house trained but he is smart and should be easy to train. With his athletic ability and intelligence, he would probably do very well on an agility course. He would do best in a home with someone around most of the day keep him company.

These pups are in Yreka, California too!

Meet Freya! If you’re looking for a truly special companion who’s bursting with love and smarts, Freya just might be your dream dog! This unique and adorable girl has been patiently waiting since December 2022 for her perfect forever family—a home where she can give all the hugs and kisses her sweet little heart (and body!) can muster. With her cuddly personality and sharp intelligence, Freya is ready to fill your life with joy and endless snuggles. Freya’s not just a sweetheart—she’s also a clever learner who thrives on new challenges. She already knows how to “Sit,” “Down,” “Roll Over,” and gently take treats, and she’s eager to learn even more. Imagine all the tricks and fun games you could teach her with a little one-on-one training! She’s a quick study and a true star when it comes to obedience. When it comes to other dogs, Freya has had plenty of positive experiences here at the shelter. She’s developed a special preference for confident male companions who are cool with letting her be in charge—because this little lady loves to take the lead! A home with that perfect balance of fun and respect would be ideal for her. Freya would thrive in a moderately active home where she can romp around, play fetch, and keep both her mind and body moving. Because she tends to hold onto weight, it’s important she finds a family committed to keeping her at a healthy weight through regular exercise and proper care. Could you be the lucky person to give Freya the loving home she’s been dreaming of? Don’t wait—call the Ranch today and come meet this incredible girl who’s ready to steal your heart! Meet Tocho – Your Next Loyal Adventure Buddy! Looking for a smart, active dog with a big heart and an even bigger brain? Meet Tocho – a handsome, mature boy with charm, wit, and a love for toys that rivals his love for people! Tocho is incredibly intelligent and already knows a whole toolkit of tricks including Sit, Wait, Shake, and Down. He’s also a fetch expert — not only will he chase the ball with enthusiasm, but he’ll drop it neatly at your feet so you never lose track of it. He walks well on leash and enjoys being active, but he’s just as happy settling in with a favorite toy on a cozy bed. One of his quirkiest and cutest habits? He’s so devoted to his toys that he’ll rinse them off in his pool to keep them clean! Tocho has done well with most respectful dogs and may enjoy having a calm, well-matched canine companion. He has been exposed to livestock in the past. His loyalty runs deep — once you earn his trust, it’s yours for life. ‍ He’s the kind of dog who will respect your boundaries if you respect his — mutual trust is key to a strong bond with him. Tocho does well in most fencing and loves having elevated surfaces to climb or jump on ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143, so a yard with interesting terrain or structures would be ideal. True to his active nature, he may prefer living primarily outdoors with access to indoor time and companionship. He thrives with purpose, space, and enrichment. To help him thrive, Tocho will need a dog-savvy, adult-only home  that understands the needs of an intelligent, energetic dog. With structure, patience, and understanding, he’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion. If you’re ready to meet a smart, loyal, and adventurous dog who will be by your side through thick and thin, call the Ranch to meet Tocho today!
