Story
This is BIG Mikey. Mikey is from an Oops litter. His mom is a Labrador Retriever /Collie mix and dad is a sweet, lovable bully. BARC has him and his litter mates up to date on vaccines, microchipped and pays for neutering when ready. Mikey is a playful and intelligent pup who would make an awesome best friend and play mate. Kids would be safe with this fellow around as he is going to be big. No one will know he is a teddy bear. You can apply for Big Mikey online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com

Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Story
Burnie boy was dumped at our gate while we were evacuated for the Highway 82 so he’s named for this occasion. He’s in a great and loving foster home where he’s getting all his puppy needs and desires more than met…he’s spoiled. He needs a home where he’s going to be a loved and cherished member of the family and never be left feeling unloved. We aren’t sure of his breed mix at all due to not knowing where he came from, but he’s really stinking cute!

Story
My name is Opal - I am 6 months old and a quick learner ! I love running and treats. I am leashed trained and love kids! 5-20-26 update: Per the vets: Opel has Border Collie features specifically because of her speckled faces and legs. Just under 30 #, she can be timid one minute and full of kisses moments later. Very friendly dog, and will be a great house dog. Eats in her crate for meals. House/Crate trained - loves the doggie door. Her one blue eye sparkles in the sunlight. Her favorite trick is to pretend she's just watching you plant flowers, then the next time you see her she has one of the plastic saucers I use for my potted plants - she is clever ! Like most puppies, she enjoys a good mud puddle or playing tug of war with cheap door rugs. Hard to tell at 6 months exactly my mix, but my mama is a smaller size German Shepard mix, my daddy, unknown ! I have several puppy sisters, plus big dogs to teach me to run and play, but so far there no cats where I live now. I've been around loose yard cats and didn't even look at them twice. Opal loves children - she would even swim with them in a pond or baby pool if I let me. Opal says I just love water, putting my feet in a big bowl, or my foster washing my face! Opal let kids she just met crawl in the crate with her at nap time. Opal is full of kisses and so gentle - she loves being with people. Opal has been spayed, very ready to go to her furever home to be a part of your furever family. She just needs a chance for a real furever home - she is ready and willing to learn the basics of your home!

Story
My name Petunia - I am a sweet little puppy at 6 months old! I am small with a long body. Shy, I follow my siblings lead. I would need a doggie friend to be with. I would love to cuddle and be held once I know you. I am house trained, still not confident to go in and out of doggie door alone. I go to my crate for meals. I sometimes nap in my crate; in the A/C and of course the sunny deck! I love playing with other dogs, and plastic milk containers are my favorite toy. I am too timid to walk on a leash - needs more work in that area. Easier to pick me up and carry me to where you want me! My 6 month vet visit: We know my mama was a GSP (small size), but unsure on my daddy. Due to my speckling and texture of my fur, the vet is leaning towards Border Collie. I am HW neg, and have smaller feet than my siblings, so doubtful I'll get any taller. Think of me as a flower bud - waiting to bloom with your family in your home ! I'm jet black fur - a little fluffy, with a white stripe on my chest & head - very striking if I may add! I behave around toddlers; even grown adults. Anyone that will smooch me will be my favorite. I've never seen a cat, so not sure if I like them. So adopt me and watch me blossom ! I am loyal and just want to give love to my furever family! I'm your little flower bud, and let me grow with you.
