Meet Mikie, a truly handsome pup at 3 months and a healthy 21 pounds! This little guy is rocking some beautiful coloring and the cutest half-up, half-floppy ears. Mikie is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations, so he's ready to go! He's currently acing a crash course in basic training and is eager to learn. With a little more experience, Mikie is going to be an absolutely fantastic companion. He's a medium-sized, high-energy dog who thrives on praise and treats, making him a joy to train. Mikie is looking for an experienced family who can channel his energy and help him grow into the amazing dog he's destined to be! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
