Waggy has beautiful markings and an adorable white-tipped tail that makes him even more special. He’s your typical happy puppy—playful, loving, cuddly, curious, and always ready for attention. Because he is expected to be a larger dog, a fenced yard would make him the happiest, giving him plenty of space to run, explore, and play. Waggy is a sweet, joyful little guy who will bring lots of love and fun to the family lucky enough to adopt him. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Wiggy is an 8-week-old boy puppy weighing about 11 pounds. He appears to be a larger-breed mix, possibly something like a St. Bernard / Border Collie mix or another type of working dog breed. Because he’s likely to grow into a big, active dog, a fenced yard will be best for him so he has room to run and play. Like most puppies his age, Wiggy is playful, sweet, and absolutely adorable. He’s also very affectionate and loves attention. Right now he’s learning the basics—working on potty training and getting more comfortable in his new environment. Wiggy is a lovable little guy with a big personality, and he’ll make a wonderful companion for a family ready for all the fun (and training!) that comes with raising a puppy. Ysabell is a 1 year old Border Collie/Retriever mix weighing approximately 45 lbs. She is as sweet as can be! Ysabell is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. She is dog friendly and has not been can tested yet. Ysabell recently raised a litter of puppies and her owners then dumped her at a shelter, but kept her babies. Heartbreaking. Her past has not been a good one, but we're going to find her her very own loving family to give her that happy ending she so deserves! Sabrina is an amazing dog who just needs someone willing to work with her. She is amazing with children (just needs work on being too excited around small children She absolutely loves sniff walks and fetch to wear her out and work her brain. She will need a more involved owner who understands her needs. She’s got some unique quirks that make her even more special! She needs a very slow introduction to other dogs but has been able to play with and be around some other non dominant dogs. She does have Addison disease which is kept in control with a monthly injection. She would benefit from a forever home with someone who can keep up with that and give her a calm loving environment to spend her golden years.
